It seems like Syscoin will be easily the first coin with a fully working market place. Haven't tried the SysMarket Alpha yet but it looks awesome.

Haha, don't be naive. This rise is because people are starting to find out about this coin and see all of the cool tech in action. I see it continuing the climb until it's at least 1000 sat and rising. It doesn't matter though, because once the Syscoin marketplace is in full swing and the rest of the features are announced by the dev team, people will want to use it for its intended purpose--a currency, not a tradable asset. 1000 sat? Not going to happen for a while if it can, too many ICO holders that want out at this point. They won't let it go over 140-160 sat trying to minimize losses when they dump and right back down to +/- 100 sat it goes. This is going to go on because the ICO investors do not have confidence in the coin anymore because they got left out in the cold when the dev's focused on the BTC theft, confidence can be expensive. At the end of their day in court they probably will not have recovered anything. Better results would have been achieved with duct tape, queer town fire hydrant, and a thief in the hands of his victims rather than a court room that really doesn't care if SYS gets their BTC back, and a DA only seeking a conviction mark on his belt.

It may take some time, but it will get there. Some ICO investors will dump, but I think this statement is not true: This is going to go on because the ICO investors do not have confidence in the coin anymore I would agree that some probably don't have confidence in the coin, and out of those that haven't already sold, there are a group that will sell. On the other hand, there is also a group that does have confidence in the coin and likes what they are seeing with development. Lately, I've seen more and more people comment positively on this thread that I haven't seen before, as well as more and more come into IRC to check Syscoin out. Call me mental, but I think that's a good sign of things to come.

There are a significant amount of ICO folks that have lost confidence, yes, but I feel most have dumped by now and either bought back in or stayed away. Regardless, the ICO people that have held on this long, are in it for the long haul. It seems the weak hands are beginning to grip a bit tighter as the original glamour of syscoin comes to fruition

Cheers mate! The bounty was a nice thing to get, but the marketplace is why I started looking at this coin in the first place. I see the possibilities that exist for it, and with the other technology that Syscoin brings to the table, I can't help but get excited

How would others feel about getting a 7 day sponsorship at bittrex?
I simply had the idea, and know ive invested in a number of coins simply because i saw they were sponsored and i was anticipating volitility. Feel free to correct me if this is a bad idea but i would toss in .1 (possibly more depending on others interest) to do so. Price is 2btc for 7 days
Maybe this might be something to hold off on until more releases come our way?

I've never heard of this, what benefits would it provide?

I've never heard of this, what benefits would it provide? you get one of the boxes under the bar at the top above markets. Could be worth it but 2 btcs is alot really, didnt realise was that much. I agree but maybe do it at a real milestone event, somein like winning court or 0.1.0.6 release. I agree pr needs to be geared up but 2 BTCs could perhaps now be better spent?

Yes, benefit would be a spot on bittrex's "Account Home Page", the landing page everyone comes to after signing in. There are sponsored coins across the top each week. It at the very least, brings coins to traders attention. My typical process is for ones that I've heard of, I typically will buy those coins IF they are at a low value compared to their recent trends, or will watch them and buy when they dip. Regardless, I know I pay attention to those sponsored coins, as when they become sponsored seems the volatility starts going a bit nuts.
It would bring more attention to syscoin, and if timed right, could lead to a new market value after is all said and done. People would see it's sponsored, look up the ANN thread, see the feature set, see the strong community behind it, the consistent updates/work from the dev team, and at the very least buy a little (0.01 - 0.1 btc avg) and maybe even buy in huge.
I do agree with Zebedee though, could be better timed.

Personally got mixed emotions about this. If you promote on bittrex you are just playing into the hype for pumpers and dumpers. I thought this coin was more than that, about innovation? Trying to actively push this coin with that much BTC is sorta waste of money IMO. I know we want traders, but adverstising straight where the pumpers and dumpers do their dirty work maybe not best use of BTC.

I think you can get a basic press release for around $175. This would give our coin a little bit of a new audience, and perhaps draw some people in.
