Since we were talking about gambling the other day - I found this article on Coinbase about the potential of Gambling and Bitcoin (or NEOS Coin).

http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-gambling-boom-just-getting-started/

we should open a NEOSpoker site with side games like dice black jack... exclusive for neos coins. Would be really cool if u can buy neos from the site with btc Wink

just a side project Wink

Yea that would be awesome, was thinking about that before, but here some issues.

1) how you gonna make it ? webbrowser based, software, what programm language ?
Cause the players need to be connected with each other. (maybe websockets)
2) law's , for the country were people are and the base will take place.
3) Security , when a lot money go around ppl will see it as a oppertunity to take money.
4) Buying a system is possible but its hard to make it crypto based.

But the idea is really awesome i was thinking about it a lot , cause i love poker a lot.

But if anyone is around knowing how to make this they are allowed to contact me, maybe we can make a deal Cheesy.

Kind regards,
Bacobob

The laws concerning gambling at least in the US are all money transfer issues, and the problem has always been getting money on and off the site via banks rather than the hosting or playing itself. Of course crypto bypasses all that because the bank is the blocks and your wallet. If you have a poker site Neos could be accepted just like dollars or euros, but that doesn't promote Neos unless the site only takes Neos (and the site would have no good reason to do that) and you still have the problem of hosting. It might be possible to publish card values and hand outcomes on blockchain as messages, but that's too technical for me so further opinion should be left to devs.

There's lots of cheating in online gaming and the biggest source by far is dishonest software and site owners. A much smaller source is collusion between players in poker. A crypto game might be able to get around both.

all of the above are great points , but poker would literally be for fun for neos holders and also the site owners would make money on the rake. can have extra games on the site as well but focus on poker..if its even possible to pull off which I'm sure if we find the right ppl it can be done...

just incase i went ahead and bought the domain NEOSPOKER.COM Wink incase we ever need it Wink

Who's selling now?I don't see why the price is driven low.

Often ppl sell because they get impatient and want to use the BTC for another Train. Twitter says for example: "In 5 Minutes xyz-Coin will start to rise 300% and thats never absolutely not a ScamCoin".... and some think: Oh yeah, I should sell my Neos. Cheesy

But, it's good for later. One of the biggest problems in every Crypto (including BTC) is a lack of distribution. Selling is distribution and the price is nevertheless stable.
Yes.But in my opinion people'd rather start buying now because that's a great entry point. If anyone's doubting, you'd better get in now.Long term potential here  Wink

Deff. true both , but cause it go down people get scared and selling thats another problem.
Not strong enough hands, yet.

Yes. But just uninformed people get scared. And it's good if they sell. Everyday Neos gets more attention and more people find it's way. But many thought they could have missed the train and the price would come back to the range of 15k. Now they see Price-Stabilization and buy in just to be in. To "build" a strong Price-Base of real Investors with a longterm-focus, such a Phase is very good. If the Price would rise faster it would come to an extreme against emotion as well.

Under the line, it's very perfect in my opinion.

  Cool

Decentralized marketplace I bet. Its doable, and we all know twoturtles is a fast coder and has funds behind him, plus its already in php and its a web wallet, perfect place to drop a marketplace. I got a feeling the dev has something up his sleeve.

If he does, expect an isntant x40 of your btc investment Wink

It is definitely on the list but I'm pretty sure a marketplace will take more time, possibly on V2.1 maybe. Who knows though, either way it will be solid progress, the alias function is much easier for people to stomach and is like having an address book rather than a long string of numbers to try and remember recipients by.

Also make an account and support NEOS here-you should write a comment about it http://forum.casheer.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=129-. It's another exchange which will launch and we need to express our support and have more comments there. Also don't forget to retweet the tweet above and tweet moolah to add neos.C'mon!
