Airdrops do not start until the launch of the Android wallet. Otherwise, it'll be unfair to a majority of people.

Are you sure? I think they will start when the ios beta comes out, not sure about it though

Already read everything related to GEMS thanks. It is whether you want to distance yourself from the failure of NXTTY then go ahead but you are to anyone who downloads this app a messenger app with a crypto currency bolted on. Yes you have some innovative ways to distribute and use the coins for advertising BUT this will have no point what so ever to the average user and also more importantly unless you get a million plus users advertisers simply won't even care. So how many people have NXTTY got after a month or so? Not even 5,000 downloads it's just as likely to be only a couple of thousand in total. I think newbie accounts and this NETNOX guy is clearly working for GEMS and is pushing the we are going to be the new Whatsapp which is just as bad as the usual hype of coins that say they are going to be bigger than Bitcoin. The truth is getting numbers of people to use this app beyond the small sector or crypto users will be very very hard. It would be fairer if you say to investors this is a long shot but it might just work rather than compare yourself to FB and Whatapp and ask for millions in dollars for what is a basic messenger app.

go away troll, you have been talking crap from the beginning. i'm not part of gems team i just like the concept and i am free to say my opinion how i want and if i want to promote something i see as promising than it's not your business. For me it's promising because it's been a long time since charlie lee we had coin devs/ceos who go public like this, this gives confidence you mad about that? YES it's important if devs are active and go public to promote their idea. This is how an idea starts to rise and gets promoted to the point that it gets used by teenagers, nxtty doesn't have this and it's not backed by bitcoin neither you can use bitcoin in the app. Again, don't use nxtty as a benchmark
