The explorer is finished and up and running guys, managed to pull off some nice proxying to make it a nice URL!

http://explorer.litecoindark.com

Will also act as a permanent node and will be added as a seed node in a next release Smiley

Enjoy!

Careful when withdrawing from https://btc-market.org/ guys..

They don't pay BTC fees so it looks like my withdrawal will be stuck?

It will(should) eventually go through. I have had tons of withdraws from many places that added no fees. The longest I have waited is 1 day, but they always went through. If you have a wallet that can send unconfirmed coins it may(or may not) speed things up by sending the inputs to another address and adding an overly hefty miners fee.

Yeah? I'm gonna be pissed otherwise, it was 0.7BTC lol

dude don't worry i have already withdrawn from there, is taking a bit longer

On the TX info, did it say Fees: 0?
Hi guys,
We did set tx fee to 0.0001 BTC, but some how it gets back to zero. We sorry about that.
We have set it to 0.0001 again. You withdrawals shouldn't stuck now.

If you're using sources from git and trying to sync, that would be the cause of the sync issue.  Some of the hardfork code was committed to the official git. We've deferred changes requiring the hard fork until a later release, and I'm working hard to get updated sources and new binaries compiled.

This is fixed in the update.  Rolling it out in the next few hours.

I am having problems getting wallet to sync. Anyone else. ( Cant find the appdata for this)

I had also had issues with the wallet syncing when I first installed it until I created a coin.conf file in the same directory as the executable and added the following:

rpcuser=youruser
rpcpassword=yourpassword
addnode=54.194.99.126
addnode=88.213.221.77
addnode=54.194.99.126:11040
addnode=104.37.187.38:11040
addnode=198.199.110.87:11040
addnode=211.155.86.138:11040
addnode=209.73.144.179:11040
addnode=194.79.23.168:11040
addnode=24.199.222.232:11040
addnode=88.213.221.77:53037
daemon=1

After I did this, I restarted the wallet and it was able to sync.

Hope this helps.

Prices on coin-swap are 4x the price it was yesterday with current buy orders sitting at 400 satoshi.

Not to mention a hash rate of 15 GH/s after the halvening which is more than the hash we saw when block rewards were at 3200.

Once we hit the big exchanges with a solid road map of features, this is going much higher!

Thank you, though we've just had an official update and I am building a new official OSX wallet as well.  LTCD will likely still accept your bounty as it may be a few days before I get the chance to build the new OSX wallet.

In any case, you are likely to receive a donation from myself very soon.

New Windows LitecoinDark wallet (version 1.0.1)

I've been working on several new additions and features for LitecoinDark, and we thought we were in need of a hard fork for this release; thankfully, this is not the case.  This updated wallet does not require a hard fork and will continue to sync with the current network.

The changes in 1.0.1 are minimal, as we have deferred any features requiring a hard fork until a later version.  The Windows installer is also not quite ready yet, and so the zip file contains only the binaries and changelog, as well as the sha512sums of each of the files and the PGP signature for verification of the files' integrity.

You'll note the changes are very minimal, and the primary purpose of this update is to get some solid checkpoints in place both prior to and post halving.  There are many more updates to come in the near future, and I am happy to accept the role of developer on this project along with Robbert.

Download: https://github.com/TrollByFire/LitecoinDark-Unofficial/releases/tag/litecoindark-1.0.1

The original post should be updated to reflect this release, and should be available from http://litecoindark.com/ soon.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The original client used the working directory as the coin's data directory and stored the blockchain, wallet, and config files there.  Also the config file was named coin.conf -- THIS HAS BEEN CHANGED in this update to a more proper location under %AppData%.  You will need to copy at least your wallet.dat and coin.conf into the new data directory and rename your coin.conf to litecoindark.conf.  If it looks like you're missing coins, this is probably why.  Make sure you make these changes before you get worried.

The sources were built from the ltcd-1.0.1 branch on https://github.com/TrollByFire/LitecoinDark-Unofficial/ and changes will be integrated upstream ASAP.

Thank you for all your support; we're glad to have such a great community behind us!
