Is it possible to change Antminer S5 PPLNS to PPS? The payout of PPS is stable than PPLNS.

Hashnest doesn't let you choose. If you buy hash, it has to be on PPLNS. I believe if you mine to Antpool with your own miners, then you have the option between PPS and PPLNS.

Yes. I got Error 500 upon login. Btw, did Hashnest just implement Cloudflare? Error 500 usually means server error. For me the site is working very good. No error, lags ..

lol. Please use the quote function next time. Else, others might think you are just parroting. Can't believe the S7 hash crashed to below 0.001

Can't believe the S7 hash crashed to below 0.001 If you do the math, taking difficulty increases, fees when selling, actual mined BTC, maintenance costs even - you'll see at 0.001 it was massively overpriced. Not unlike the actual AntMiner S7, haha. But I agree with you, I was surprised it crashed so quickly as soon as the difficulty rise took place. I expected a drop but what occurred was a bit of panic selling.

Just think about those people whom bought the S7 hashes for 2 BTC. It's less then half right now.. The BTC price however did increase by 70% which makes the loss less.
But with growing difficulty, I don't think it will be very profitable.

Soery for asking but does it means s7 is worthless? And we waited for long since the first day it was announced for a non-profitable miner?

I expected a drop but what occurred was a bit of panic selling. The drop in prices is a norm for every new miner that is out on the market. Perhaps there is a trend of a generic time frame we could look at based on previous miners. Let's say the price drops 'y' percent 'x' days after the miner was released? So, around 'x'-5 days, it is time to offload? I looked at the past records of S7 prices, it is an overall downward trend but with spikes of price increase. It is about picking the right time to offload to reduce losses but holding on to hashes is generally not a wise idea. Looks like to profit, you have to trade and it goes back to a member's point here that you need bots to do the job.

You have to trade and generally think short, ie. look to sell highs and buy back in lower thus increasing your hash. It´s not easy and it´s time consuming which is why I gave up on it a few months ago. Buying is never a problem, but selling can be, especially if you have a meaningful amount to tend to.

I keep telling people for months now that PoW home and cloud BTC mining is the thing of the past. Only a few large centralized pools can afford to keep up with this difficulty growth. So switch to PoS and dont be stupid cause all I hear from people in these threads recently is how they lose money. So STOP losing money. Go to DMD Diamond, go to CLAM or whatever other nice PoS coins you like.

I agree. Especially if the amount is significant, it can be a frustrating to be in the queue and you see bots appearing which queue in front of you selling 100 satoshis less to block your sell.

All of a sudden I have Google Authenticator on my account? I never activated it due to losing a phone once - and my support ticket is unanswered at this time.
Anyone have any ideas?

I had only a few bitcoins there and was really only interested in preserving that and maybe make a little profit which I ended up doing. But also I wanted to check if the trollbox was any good, both for tips on trading the hash and other unrelated things elsewhere. And I can´t hang in a traders´ trollbox without anything to trade. It was fun and no complaints here. The service worked seamlessly for me. Just got tired of it.

How do you convert your hashes into codes?
Did I miss out anything in the options?

This was asked a few pages back, I will have to try and find it. But, short answer is they use to offer that feature and it is now pretty much a dead option. In other words just ignore it now.

You use to be able to turn hash to code like you asked, but can't anymore that I know of. You can still redeem vouchers to hash though. This is how it used to work: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766448.msg9126495#msg9126495If it is still possible I have not seen how, but maybe someone else here can chime in and help out.

Yes it used to be possible, but Hashnest shut down that service because there was a way to cheat, and turn more hash into codes than one had in their accounts. Whatever you see on Ebay are either a scam, or very old hashes that were turned into code and haven't been redeemed yet.
