Promised the wife once i reached my Bitcoin goal the miners would be sold, after a year and a half of mining job done coins in cold storage . Still want to contribute to network in some way, decided to invest proceeds from sale of equipment into hashnest Pacmic V2. Purchased block of ten and block of five TH contracts today fifteen in total all good expecting to add more as equipment goes availability allowing.

Now the question what is the best strategy regarding auto buy? bit confused with this, Block of ten on, Block of five off at present. Any help/views would be appreciated.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Hi.
I need a little help please...
Is it normal to see your wallet balance get lower instead of getting higher?!  Huh

With my cloud miner Antminer S5 I see that on today's block the maintenance fee if higher that the earning?!
On several block's this happened today!

Please advise

It depends on the pool luck.  If a block takes longer to find, then you will owe more for power and maintenance fees than the payout was.

Okay.
Thanks you.
It seems I have been having lots of bad luck...
And the back luck keeps on arriving.

I cant find the shutdown button lol Smiley it would be cheaper to turn it off

Are you sure of a negative balance with S5 ? One day of bad luck could happen sometimes, I'm in S5 by one month (before i owned UMISO and S3) now, with good earnings, but from 25 of may till today, never happened to have one day of negative balance (i check the balance one time a day), so in the long run you are not loosing.....

But if you think that this investment is no more profitable for you sell the power on the market....  Grin Grin Grin

Its normal, yesterday was a higher luck day, so your balance should not be positive.

If you go to your S5 Stats page with the pool graph etc and hover the mouse over the graph blocks, you will get payout info like in the picture below.
This is the payout for yesterday and as you can see, if you subtract the fee from the payout, you are still into a positive.

This was my payout for 50GH/s

So no need to worry. During the day it all works out quite ok.

That's right Ian, sometime some block goes negative in the payout, but during the whole day the result is always positive....

Like everyone else said luck is what will cause bad and good days ( negative or positive payouts )  If you have just say 90% luck and own ant 2 for days youw could have negative payouts for a long time.  Ant 5 shouldn't be negative many days if at all.

Now, be careful and double check that it was just bad luck.

One guy bought some hashing like .33 and there was an error and he was charged like .33 in maintenance.  Obviously that was an error and they eventually got back to him and fixed it.  Should be able to go see the thread on it.

But most likely just a bad day.   Again, with ant 5 there should be almost no negative days unless pool luck is like 50%.

Good luck.

Every domain has the "one year" expiration date, so every domain, every year has to be renewed, don't post things like this, this has no meanings.......

Yes this is true.
But a domain can also be registered for 5 years. But even this means nothing.

Example:
Bitcoin Cloud Services have proved them selves to be bastards and their company and mining operation a Ponzi, but they registered the domain until 2020

bitcoincloudservices.com

Domain Name: BITCOINCLOUDSERVICES.COM
Registry Domain ID: 1849735333_DOMAIN_COM-VRSN
Registrar WHOIS Server: whois.enom.com
Registrar URL: www.enom.com
Updated Date: 2014-03-08T21:26:07.00Z
Creation Date: 2014-03-09T05:26:00.00Z
Registrar Registration Expiration Date: 2020-03-09T05:26:00.00Z

So lets not panic Smiley I believe in bitmain & hashnest

LOL, learn something about domains first. Every single domain is registered for a year by default unless specified otherwise and renews automatically or manually after that period of time. So this is completely normal and nothing more to discuss about. This is a non criteria for legit or not. Everybody knows that Hashnest is a company you can trust Smiley

Do some math and draw your own conclusions.  No one here (or anywhere for that matter) will be able to give you any better estimate than your own.

My conclusion is no, not worth it. But, wanted others experiences / opinions of the services offered.

Listen to what your own brain tells you.  There are plenty of people on here who would rather manipulate your thinking for their own personal gain and will get you to buy into something they are trying to pump.  No one really has any idea about anything that will happen in mining, and tomorrow not only can, but will lead to entirely different set of circumstances than were in place today.  So if you don't think anything else is worth it, trust yourself and go in that direction.  If you want to ask less broad questions I can help.  But your statement where it site is very broad.

I have investments in all Hashnest products and keep a spreadsheet at how to profit with Bitmain Hashnest I regularly update just to help answer this question. I only own the original PACMiC v1. Since Bitmain reduced profit on the new v2 I think I prefer an interest bearing wallet like HaoBTC.
