Somehow someone got into my FortuneJack account two days prior to my last login and took my loss back on dice and then cashed out .003btc.   They were able to change my email address and I can’t even do that when I go to my preferences.   The message showing my email had changed was in my inbox on FortuneJack and it was sent to me when’s i logged in.


I found this email in my junk folder unread: “Greetings, dear user.
 
We are contacting you regarding your latest withdrawal.
It was delayed by our system for security reasons as your account credentials (Withdrawal IP or Wallet Number) are different from your usual credentials.
 
Please confirm that you were the person who made a withdrawal and your transaction will be processed right away !”

So I don’t know how they were able to convince someone to let them withdraw and change the email all at the same time.   I asked live chat and they didn’t reply at all even after sending screenshots of the emails, etc.

It looks like they have a ton of funds collected but I may be reading it wrong.  They had to use a low fee so the TX is still pending from the ninth when the did it.    Don’t suppose any admin at FortuneJack could double spend it with a good TX fee to get the funds back to me?

I'm having a bit of an issue with my most recent  withdrawal though, it has been pending for the past 6 hours or so and doesn't even appear as unconfirmed to the address I withdrew to. I should note that the withdrawal has since been processed. I contacted support about it and was told I needed to respond to an email they had sent me. I had received no emails for FJ since the time I made the withdrawal, so I asked them to resend it and they did. It simply asked me to confirm the withdrawal because my IP had changed recently. While I'm happy they have this system in place, I'm not quite sure why I didn't receive the initial email in the first place.

To be fair, this is the only withdrawal I've had that has been delayed, which is why I was surprised. I made another one today that was instant, so I have no complaints. As for the signature wearers, you can't blame them for being positive, they're getting paid .035 BTC a week  

BTCevo spent so much time in this topic with this account and his alt account it makes me wonder how he missed our discussion about "status pending" and "status failed" and "email verification" and how many times it was mentioned. If he reads this topic as he has read/replied to my post when actmyname has found his alt account it doesn't surprise me at all.
I used word "usually" in my previous post, which is something he also missed, I think almost every one of us(signature wearers) experienced status pending at some point. I am sure if he use search button he will see that we actually posted that in this thread. People usually see only what they want to see.
As for being positive, is there any reason not to be?

Just to add up. 0.035/Week is too much. You are not updated man coz it is just only 0.01/week now  . I cant deny the fact that delays regarding on withdrawal is there but not really a big issue thinking of that there would be some factors affecting that delay.Their support is approachable anytime if you do have complaints then you can send anytime a ticket. We are not bias on our experiences and i dont know why you do have those kind of assumptions to us signature wearers

There is no privileges for those who are joining the signature campaign, Fortunejack does it professionally and serve all withdrawals the same way imho. I'm sure there is a time when withdrawal takes longer time than usual in any sites including Fortunejack. I have to admit (not because I'm wearing the signature) that most of the time withdrawal takes just a few minutes but as I remember I have experienced a bit longer waiting time for my withdrawal.

Indeed, I have my withdrawal being delayed too, when  I inquire, it is due to different IP issue.  But for sure they will email us for the confirmation of the withdrawal if they found any unusual stuff on the withdrawal. But once cleared, they will release the fund.

That is really a good feature that FortuneJack have it is a nice added feature that provides safety to all members of the FortuneJack community unfortunately his case was different as to maybe his email was also compromise. That is why when I am creating an account the password will always be different from my email also I wouldn't provide too much information lile giving easy security questions to recover my account.

Its already an old feature which they would really send email confirmation if you did request a withdrawal into a new address which you havent used before on withdrawing but if you do use your common address used since from the beginning then you wont really receive any email from them.Only FJ would able to answer on all of this if theres a breach to the account or just a mistake on inputting other address.

True, people does not effort to setup a maximum security in their accounts then.. whine when their accounts got hacked.. I have this experience in Poloniex when I was still new to this kind of stuff.. I never knew that 2fa isone of the most important security setup of an account, so I just continue without using it until the day I found out that all my coins were stolen.  Oh well that is the hard way to learn about the importance of 2FA.  No matter how annoying it is, we must set it up for our own account's security.

True, and I believe 2FA is now the industry standard in securing anything online nowadays. I think it is a good protection. The only way a hacker would be able to hack an account is indeed access to your phone (or whatever authenticator you are using), or he needs to social engineer the support so he can reset the 2FA. Both of which are extremely hard to do, especially if the sit has good policies.
