The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

The bitcointalk thread of Supernet is pretty orphaned. The most communication is done on SuperNet Slack channel.
Most features are still in work but there is good progress.

Anyone care to get an escrow to make a fund for new exchanges? And perhaps get a new dev?

Great Idea!! What about asking a trusted SuperNET community member? I'll donate dome OPALS

Do you participate in their slack? I have not been there for ages

The thing is that OPAL offered something special in 2014 and 2015. Now, all the planned and implemented features are also covered by other projects. OPAL does need new ideas.

As stated before, there is nothing special of OPAL anymore. Therefore the demand for OPAL coin declined dramatically, so that there is almost no trading anymore.

the OPALTKN market is almost dead, I missed something? They remain valid?

ALL opal trading is at zero, even on yobit. Apparently speculators are not very interested at this moment.
Anyway, what about that Cryptopia?

Open needs a developer, someone to take over the code, coin, etc. If your interested please PM me or ping me in #opalcoin on freenode. I am hoping for a bag holder that might be interested in resurrecting this coin.

Thanks,

Seems like opal is pretty dead, so no need for a new thread. Basicly it never was more then a copycat POS coin.

Not really, they attempted to put functionality into the blockchain so it wasn't just PoS. I don't know how it affects the SuperNet though to have a coin that the development just vanished from though. I would think SuperNet would be glad to see someone pick it back up and bring it to life.

That's where it started (didn't they all) over two and a half years ago, but we had some great ideas and took on too much at one time, with not a lot of experience.  Again, if anyone would like to help with development or even take over the coin, please let me know.

Thanks,
