Why for the 15 february my friend recieved only 4,687.3558112 FLDC to wallet 1AbTjP3oJZJMPQjdNzdaVrRsANAKmo32KB ?
But we see on the page http://foldingcoin.net/platformReports/FLDC/20150215-payoutReport.html 33,742.00801633 FLDC for the 15 february.

What happened?

First off I will start updating distribution issues here as well as twitter. When things happen with the distribution I always post on twitter - @foldingcoin

So we had another issue with the distribution server. The last time this happened was on Merged Folding launch. It just so happened to be the same day that Counterpartyd made a new update. Since the counterpartyd update, the distribution server needs a bug worked out of it. This is only the second time it has happened, but basically it pays certain addresses double amounts. On the 5th it was anyone who received less then 300 FLDC got double payments. So when this happens, the distribution address eventually runs out of FLDC. When that occurs, it will pay a few people 0 FLDC, but then the distribution server recognizes that no funds are actually there anymore and stops the distribution.

This time, the top 17 Folders received double payments, which then made the distribution run out very quickly. We still owe 233 payouts and we are going to process those as soon as we can. So here is whats going on:

FoldingCoin, thanks for the update - and I hate to contradict you, but; I'm #5 on the payout list and I got a 0 FLDC payout, and my colleague at #6 also got a 0 FLDC payout, so it certainly wasn't all the top 17 that got a double payout.

Why the fold?

Hello everybody,

The FoldingCoin network has grown at an amazing rate over the last couple of months!

I was wondering what the reason is supporters are folding.  Is it the profit you want  to make or just to support Stanford? Or both?

The FoldingCoin network has grown at an amazing rate over the last couple of months!

I was wondering what the reason is supporters are folding.  Is it the profit you want  to make or just to support Stanford? Or both?

I started to mine altcoin for profit, but it was becoming tedious.
Then I started to fold curecoin. It was easier than all the mining software, less power hungry and profitable... for a few days. But since I didn't want to use my Gpus for something unuseful.
In september or october, I switched to foldingcoin to see if it was more profitable... hey, I still have to pay my electricity bills.

So I started to fold for profit, but I don't stop when it's not profitable anymore. Maybe the fldc price will go higher than 110 sat.

Are you using the "ALL" command? You will not receive every coin each time. Some of them distribute on a weekly or monthly basis.

I think for curecoin you need to stick with their team. You will still be able to get the other coins when you use the "ALL" username. Not necessary to be with the 226728 team.

You will need to be on the CURE team which is 224497 (also make sure the ALL is caps so username_ALL_wallet)

True, it can help CUREs value. Both CURE and FLDC are approaching FAH in a completely different way, so its actually kind of nice to see two different projects approaching the same goal in different ways. This will allow for more ideas to be spread. Their community wishes to receive FLDC in addition to CURE and we think that it will help the adoption of both as many of their participants now earn FLDC since the announcement. Since we are so different, I do not think this actually hurts the value of either coin, but rather increases the value of both

CURE is great and they have a cool new blockchain coming out that they shared with us, but we have some great cool features coming out as well. Since we are built on counterparty we have things like Merged Folding. We are also working hard on some other features like the Counterparty Marketplace that we plan on having ready by the end of the year (its a big project) but many features in between then and now released to help make the folding experience better for Folders and the Counterparty community.

I can discus one, Octocoin

Octocoin will be a great example of how we can take an abandoned coin and revive it using the FoldingCoin platform. Things are looking great right now and we are almost 100% confident that we are coming to an agreement on how we help their community. You can read up on their forum here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=504265.0 (page 197 and on is when they started looking for a new dev)

The second coin, discussions are just beginning, though if we come to an agreement it would be a very exciting announcement as it is an exciting coin

Yeah , no doubt about it . Both coins help with medical research but I too like FLDC more than CURE.
