The only thing I can say about this is that each investment directly rewards people for Folding so at the least, you are helping to fold indirectly.

I talked to Robert and he is a bit overflowing with work, but soon he will have a lot of time to focus on FoldingCoin. He told me he would make a post, discussing how he will make it more manageable in the meantime.

Hi everyone I have been traveling on the road and it has been really hard for me to keep up with everything that has been going on. But to keep the community up to date, here are the changes and new updates that have been going on since James has left:

Distributions have been really tough for me to do on the road and since our calculation server is different. I have switched distributions for the time being to be every Sunday for now until the distribution calculator is back at 100 percent. I apologize for the lack of information here throughout the week.

Currently right now, they way that you can view your statistics on a dialy basis is by visiting this website:

You simply change the dates to find the exact calculation date you are looking for. So for example: If you are looking for the statistics from the 24th of October, the first date at the end of the URL would be 2015-10-24 and the second date would be 2015-10-25 this is because the calculation runs for the 24th on the 25th.

I have been trying to get FoldingCoin work is as much as possible, but currently in my life I have been having a few things going on. One of which I am really excited to tell you all that I got engaged so that has taken some time away. The other is more important to FoldingCoin and that is I finally am off the road for as long as I can tell. I am involved in a new division of the company I work for and all the work is local, so no more travel issues. Another problem wit4h me also trying to fit in FoldingCoin is that balancing life and crypto can be very difficult so I don’t want to make that same mistake again. Starting in November I will have a set schedule on when I am working on FoldingCoin and cryptocurrency. I will be doing crypto work exclusively on Sundays and Thursdays from 7am-6pm starting in November. Rather than try and fit FoldingCoin in whenever, I feel that having these two days blocked out from all outside ventures will be great for me getting more things done for FoldingCoin.

The Shop.FoldingCoin.net site has not been heavily used so far. We are working on a rebranding of the website to be a better tool for the FoldingCoin and Counterparty community.

This is not in use yet, but its time for an official FoldingCoin forum. You will see at http://www.forums.foldingcoin.net/ we currently have something running, but right now a lot of its spam. We still need to tweak it around, but official forums have been long over due and we should have it fully ready by the months end.

I agree, me and Jona have been talking about this, but right now is the transitional phase between developers and that is requiring full attention. Please join the next meeting and share some thoughts on how we can improve

maybe use the 100 million, to send them to a burning address
seem like you are stuck with them and don't know what to do... so maybe i regret for my idea about allocation 50 to 100 million for dev.
i meant it to be as ICO or Crowd Sale. in one batch
not released slowly at unknown time and amounts

if its not ICO better burn the coins ? is there verified 100% unspendable address you could sent it ?
it will make this asset more rare and 100% proof-of-work for folding!

Honestly, everything is new in this space and the voting process was not setup properly. We still need to revisit this, as now we are a official 501(c)3 and perhaps the community would stand behind revoking this, but that has been a discussion for sometime now and we still need to find a proper way of doing it.

Yes, but they are only distributed once at the beginning of the month, so the next distribution will occur in just over a week

Dont have something to mine properly but I bought some coins...it helps a bit to keep the price. When I have a bit more BTC I´ll go for more!

The price is down to 20 satoshi some big holder just sold off 3.5m fldc, perhaps some type of incentive is needed to create buy pressure? If this keeps up <10 satoshi is very possible.

3,5 million coins is a considerable amount of coins to dump, so at least we have a speculator gone.  Due to work business of Robert and me, we have bit been as active lately, so I'm gonna see this as a code yellow.  We will really need to step up the game to get Foldingcoin in an upward motion again.  We are both aware we need more time to focus, so are preparing to be able to do so.

In my opinion foldingcoin needs to do 2 things - promote and create a use case. Foldingcoin is a great idea but it needs some more promotion to get to where it should be, running banner ads on crypto sites and perhaps having a interview with a crypto news outlet like cointelegraph would be great ways to increase awareness.

Apart from this foldingcoin as a coin needs to differentiate from the 1000s of crapcoins out there by creating a use case, the online store is a good use case but there needs to be more items on there and it needs to be made more user friendly and easier to use.

Just my opinion.
