The blocks are moving (I saw 64 blocks per hour earlier today).  There will likely be another slow down, but hopefully not as slow, since a couple more 1.5 wallets updated to 2.0.6 and started staking.

PS: I have a lot of catch-up work to do on some other projects, but I will check back in here now and then.  Thanks everyone for your support.

-Steve

Thank you Steve!
I apologize, but if the unresolved issues remain unresolved as soon as possible, I am switching back to 1.5 all my 5 wallets with 7% of all 34mln SLR in them.
I am sorry man, this will not be a mistake with all current important issues hanging around - these do represent a major security issue for the SolarCoin blockchain.

I understand that you feel there are some issues which need to be resolved but how is switching back to 1.5 productive for either yourself or the SolarCoin community? You're basically threatening to hold the blockchain to ransom unless people do what you say.

1.5 has been working with no issues for about an year now, and it has been proven to work. It's not me, it's everyone here and the SolarCoin project as a whole that needs an even better system - PoST. But it must be working, otherwise the project is dead. You remember several hours ago when the blockchain was stuck, for several days? Why? How do we make sure it will not happen again? Why do we see wrong results on the main wallet window, and have to re-scan every now and then? Who will be explaining that to every new claimant? Why don't you tell that to Steve, who is threatening to "check back from time to time"?

Edit: and did I ever tell anyone what to do? I test the system and find issues, and put them up for resolution. If I don't like the results - I repeat.
Steve says "oh, I am sorry, I made a mistake, I apologize, but I have no time to fix the mistake, so let's all accept it and go on with the mistake". That would be fine, if the system was working. But it is not. So I do as I wish, too.

Issue:
Got an interest award from an address, which I don't find in my transaction history. Is that possible? What does that mean?
BlockChain explorer started to catch up - thank you!
The address in question is not found up to block 835058.

Edit: can this be related to the "splitting of coins" mechanism?

Yes.

Yes. We started "the second round" at 4 blocks per minute though:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/clbemhjns49mtxa/206spike.PNG?dl=0

Is this because of a lag in the way the feedback mechanism adjusts to meet the target block rate? Or the feedback mechanism is not actually a dynamic feedback, but a constant based on the initial numbers of available coins in circulation and wallets online before PoST?
And a repeat of a previous question: What will happen, if only one wallet remains open for staking? Or what are the minimum requirements for the blockchain to keep moving?

Do the coins on bittrex earn any interest?

Just submitted your question to Bleutrade, will post their response here.
If no one here knows the answer for Bittrex - will ask them, too, along with a question about the ETA for their Bittrex wallet maintenance.

Hello Dear user,
Bleutrade Wallets do not work with interest, as they are encrypted and encrypted wallets do not generate interest.

Best regards,
Bleutrade Team.

All,

There's a final release out, version 2.0.7.  Another maintenance release to address the blockchain explorer issue.  Turns out the issue was that a full sync needed to be done.  I have generated a new bootstrap and would advise everyone to run File->Reload Blockchain.  Though it only affects the RPC command gettransaction, the txn indexes are correct in the new bootstrap.  You may also opt to do a full sync yourself.

Current height is 836335 and the train is rolling along quite nicely.

Current inflation is at 1.24%.

After the 500th confirm things started rolling, my wallet released the 60,000 coins from stake and then staked half of those and found 1 reward right away, then found another and staked the other 30K. Happened very fast.

My other wallet with 10,000 had transactions later and took longer to stake. Then it stated 20 days to find another stake so coin age is in effect.

Only problem is the constant misreading of totals after staking. It says I have 90K in a 60K wallet since it added 2 30K stakes and somehow releases the stake and then grabs it but totals it. If I try to send the 30K it just says there is an error sending and then deletes the 30K from spendable and my staked stays at 60K.

So just a minor glitch in there but the coins do not spend.

Error: The transaction was rejected. This might happen if some of the coins in your wallet were already spent, such as if you used a copy of wallet.dat and coins were spent in the copy but not marked as spent here.

I never had 2 copies live so unless it is an attempt at a 51% attack I don't know what causes it.

In this case I would rescan my wallet and note the differnces after the rescan, then attempt the same transaction again.

Edit: so may be the "Spendable + Staking = Total > real total" issue might turn out to be more than just a GUI glitch

I don't think it is a rescan problem, it only happens because I staked coins. I have done 2 re-scans. I guess I could re-scan again. But I have been seeing this all along constantly during every wallet upgrade.

Yes, exactly. Re-scan is only the solution to clean up the wrong numbers, but fixes it only till next stake. I haven't seen it for a while now, but with the 2.0.7 update I reloaded the blockchain and re-scanned right after upgrade. Will now monitor closely if the issue reappears.

CryptoNick, I've seen this in testing where some coins were sent "offchain" to a bad address.  Have you tried the console command 'repairwallet'?  Did it report no errors?

Also try reloading the blockchain,

-Steve

2.0.6 to 2.0.7, just a correction, all my earn interest from this morning until 35 minutes ago are conflicted.(and are invisible in the blockchain, just 35 minutes ago now)
Transaction id has disappeared from the blockchain, while all was ok on 2.0.6 before i reload the bootstrap to upgrade to 2.0.7.

see PM, thx
