2.0.6 to 2.0.7, just a correction, all my earn interest from this morning until 35 minutes ago are conflicted.(and are invisible in the blockchain, just 35 minutes ago now)
Transaction id has disappeared from the blockchain, while all was ok on 2.0.6 before i reload the bootstrap to upgrade to 2.0.7.

see PM, thx

I get the same row of rejects, starting from around 15:15, then some unusual confirm at 15:20 of an older unconfirmed send transaction, then all interests in a row starting 15:34 get rejected. Will PM trans ids.

All,

I'm seeing it in my wallet too.  Try File->Reload Blockchain.  It seems to have stopped on mine and now I'm generating confirmed interest txns.  You won't lose any interest as the coinage is not reset on the coins that generated conflicted stake rewards.

I've got two payments now with 4 and 16 confirmations.

-Steve

EDIT: Current block height is 836722

Shall we re-download the bootstrap when Reload->Blockchain? I am seeing it in 2 actively staking wallets, they both had the upgrade then bootstrap downloaded then wallets re-scanned before the issue appeared some time later. Also I will PM you the initial transaction IDs from both wallets when it all started.
Thanks!

Another thing worth noting is the switch from a 10% interest cap to 2% at height 836213 (roughly the time the conflicted transactions occurred). i still have two interest payments being confirmed in one wallet, but another wallet now has a conflicted txn that was being confirm.

Keep staking and keep an eye on the number of confirms, if/when it gets conflicted.  (Seems like if it gets past 4 or 6 confirms, it's good to go, which indicates a possible conflict between older (un-updated 2.0) wallets and the new 2.0.7.)

EDIT: One just came in, so I'll see how many confirms it gets.

EDIT: Two came in. One with 9 confirms now and one with 6.

EDIT: 7 have come in now, and they all appear to be getting confirmed.

EDIT: Current height is 836908.  Current blocks per hour is 53.  Current inflation is at 1.235%.

Do the coins on bittrex earn any interest?

Just submitted your question to Bleutrade, will post their response here.
If no one here knows the answer for Bittrex - will ask them, too, along with a question about the ETA for their Bittrex wallet maintenance.

Felipe McMont (Bleutrade)

Hello Dear user,
Bleutrade Wallets do not work with interest, as they are encrypted and encrypted wallets do not generate interest.

Best regards,
Bleutrade Team.

Thanks!

Can we take a moment and look at how Solarcoin has changed over time. Originally there was supposed to be 100 million SLR mined through proof of work, but the community came together and the code was changed to eventually knock the block reward down to 0.5 SLR to minimize inflation. The code was well written and performed as expected. Now here comes VeriCoin's PoST expertly customized and implemented to reduce the carbon footprint of Solarcoin even further. Further reduce inflation, and allow the network to be secured through minimal power consumption.

Even those who were a bit critical were very helpful and reasonable. Great leadership, great community, great concept. I have every confidence Solarcoin will complete its mission thanks to everyone who's been involved.

Good food for thought! Thank you!

Just for the record, here is what my wallet with the biggest number of interest transactions shows (again, this is after installing 2.0.7, downloading & applying latest bootstrap, then re-scanning wallet):
(all times shown are in New York time zone; transactions listed without omissions)

-Unaccepted Interest at 15:13, a minute after block 836413
-Interest (accepted) at 15:18 at block 836418 (trns d95dd41661ccb7293e5b5f1ea52a99b276a9db051a4a4e408b304988b43fdffd) - (accepted, 611 confirmed as of time of writing this).
-Send transaction at 15:20 at block 836762 - this was NOT sent by me at that time; I assumed the new fixed bootstrap reload may have resulted a re-broadcast of a previously unconfirmed transaction. (trns 0cdc46facc62f08b55c73db5d1b493354e477fb1baebe421b24ec12339796c9c)

After that point, I started seeing the amount of 5075 SLR (or 5085, don't remember exactly) showing up in the Unconfirmed stats, then going back to Spendable, I guess first having been in Staked. This process was repeating - and matches the following long list of Unaccepted attempts of that amount to stake.
The 5075/5085 amounts are listed as input/output of the Send transaction described above.
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/slr/tx.dws?0cdc46facc62f08b55c73db5d1b493354e477fb1baebe421b24ec12339796c9c.htm

the list of transaction history continues as follows (soon after block 836762):
-Unaccepted Interest at 15:34 (trns 6f6b334b37799fe3873c5eb30a3cd89b23180fbd098860f3e569dd900bb419cc, address: 8afk5pWMQACZkyKy83LNNTBwM5LUA5M2pF, also appearing in block 836413!)
-all following Interests are also Unaccepted, counted 49 of them, up to 20:50. last trns in the list - e435762f8baffd90db42f48e64c8651255a169f92c9fac5f0f346b7797caae32
Many of these were also for that same address as the first one above, but there were also other addresses trying to stake and not accepted.
-Interest which is still being confirmed (246) at 21:03, address is the same 8afk5pWMQACZkyKy83LNNTBwM5LUA5M2pF.
-Long list of Interests which are still being confirmed until up to now (and apparently will be), with only one Unaccepted at 23:31.

On another wallet, the Reload Blockchain I did (but still using the new bootstrap that came with 2.0.7) resulted in an out-of-balance issue (30000 SLR from the wallet "disappeared", only ~1000 left). Then I did a re-scan of the wallet and balances got fixed.
This reminded me of the "spendable + staking = total > real total" issue, which so far appears after an upgrade and looks like a re-scan fixes it. I will now post another separate note on that and will need some feedback from people seeing that issue. This IS related to yet another issue with a Windows error message that appears at auto-restarting when Rescan Wallet is selected - when the Windows error message pops up, a Wallet Rescan is NOT initiated after manually starting the wallet, so then one thinks they re-scanned but actually that did not happen.

All I can say is it seems like everything is working now! I for one haven't found a single stale block, and I have found over 10 blocks since upgrading to 2.07. All of them still pending confirmation but with around 100 confirmations so it looks fine.
I also have not had any issues with past interest payments, they are all still valid.
Most of my coins have split up already, but my larger address still has a little work to do Wink

Feedback needed, mostly from people seeing/having seen the "spendable + staking(staked that is) = Total > real total" issue:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=785257.msg12549939#msg12549939

The question is this - when selecting File -> Rescan Wallet, have you seen an error message like this one after the application restart is auto-initiated:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/mgq6gma757g0ixh/SolarCoin-2.0b12-2.PNG?dl=0

I will later explain how it may be just a standard procedural requirement that will solve the issue with the wrong balances, effectively making that issue never appear.

Thank you!

Close your solarcoin wallet.
If you're on windows press start and type %appdata% and the hit Enter.
Then open your Solarcoin folder and back up your wallet.dat file.
Next Uninstall Solarcoin from your Computer and then restart it.
next go back to %appdata% and delete the Solarcoin folder from which you backed up your wallet.dat file.

Now reinstall Solarcoin 2.07 and let it do it's thing Wink upon reinstalling it should ask you if you want to load a backup of your wallet.
Press yes and select your wallet.dat file you backed up.
When everything is done and the blockchain has been reloaded, you should be good to go!
Let me know if this works!

(btw if you're on a mac you need to press shift+control+g and then enter:    ~/Library/Application Support
that will take you to the location of your hidden Solarcoin folder)

Not seen that error, but last night reloaded blockchain in the middle of staking due to hanging, when it finished 300,000 coins had disappeared, had to restore from backup then they reappeared but the current staking had disappeared and it started staking from the beginning again.

I too am not experiencing any issues that I'm aware of since upgrading to 2.0.7. I've minted 10 blocks today of which seven are still awaiting confirmations and the remainder confirmed successfully. All previous interest payments have been confirmed successfully and I've had no rejects.

My wallet balances are updating correctly each time coins transition between states also.

The only thing I have noticed which is interesting, is my coins seem to be staking in groups of roughly 500 or 1000 each time. This is not new though, they've been staking this way since turning on PoST. I had expected all 54,000 of my coins to stake as one group given their age, but this might just be a misconception on my behalf.

Indeed! Solarcoin is moving forward and I'm proud to be part of this community and the ongoing movement. The switch to POST was a little bumpy but that was expected. It looks like we are slowly getting rid of the last small wallet issues!
A big thank you to everyone who has been involved with SLR , together we are changing the world  Cheesy
I can't wait until more people start to realize that Solarcoin is so much more that just some other altcoin, it's about time a few exchanges removed all the crap they sell and add slr  Grin
