I was so nervous about my interview months ago and he really helped me through it. Not that you'd be nervous! That's not what I mean. Just that he is amazing with the questions and the editing and everything. I can't wait to hear it!!! Do let us know as soon as it's available, OK?

LOL That was me this morning UK time, invested another 3.5 BTC got just under 200,000 so not bad... I was doing a little buying yesterday until you blew me out of the water:). Well done picking the price up. Hopefully we can set a floor at 2000 and start going up from there when we get POS.

Peeps are buying over on Bleutrade too. SLR is fourth in trading volume there. I realize it is a small exchange but the activity is welcome. Does cryptomarketcap.com recognize the volume pricing on bleutrade? It would provide more accurate data.

Solarcoin (§ SLR) are like airmiles. Each 1 Mhw generated gets you §1 free. Solarcoins can purchase what others will trade: USD,BTC, Soy candles..etc.

It's pretty cool actually. I only tried it out for a bit on Solar but I decided to go manual for a bit. I have 2 BTC coming in on Tuesday so I'm going to see if I can try out to counter the other bots. I have been trying to buffer the bid side and close the spread.
Nice! How are you making out with the Cat thingy for trading? Is it easy? I know there are lots of bot trader options but I have yet to try any out.

Hey, just a fun fact to share... I was looking at volume numbers on CoinMarketCap and we are around 37th place today in dollar terms. But when you look at SLR volume as a % of coins in circulation, we are really high! It's 1.7%. I started checking other coins to see how that compares. Litecoin by that metric is trading at 1.5% of coins in circulation but has like $2 million volume. Darkcoin is at 0.48% and $158k volume. I haven't checked others yet, wanted to see if this particular metric means anything or not. I'm tired and can't think through it.

IMHO, I expect more volatility as this filtering process continues. At least I am prepared for that. More volume means more attention means more potential additions to our fine community. I love you guys. (Yes, even you ghost... )

Wow, you go away for a couple of days and miss all the excitement! lol Great news on PoS staking…glad to hear the CCN dev folks are making progress converting the PoW system to PoS. Hopefully they'll complete the testnet verification soon. Awesome work! Great news on the price - upwards and onwards from here! Another bitcoin and gravy interview happening. Yahoo! Maybe we can have the folks from the CCN dev team setup a SolarPay system/site, like they have done with Cannacoin store and CannaPay? Maybe the candles can be sold via the SolarStore too? I haven't had a chance to read (with thought) the post regarding the generator pool. Some good thought there, for sure. All good stuff

It's nice to see SLR on the top page of Bittrex. All of the hard work people are putting in, is starting to show. I like the fact that there's some gridlock in the development of this coin too, it keeps hasty decisions from being made and prevents even smallest mistakes from turning into monumental faux pas. We're very lucky to have two very well learned, experienced, and venerable people at the helm. I think they bump the curve of experience in the crypto world honestly. I give honorable mentions to the current, past crew, and the help from the CCN ladies and lads as well who are working and have worked very hard on this project, we are in your debt. Keep up the good work fellas and ladies.

I am very excited and it's been an amazing experience working on SolarCoin projects this year. Also here is an update to the #solarcoinalphaproject Thank you very much Epiphany and Nick for mentions. It is truely inspirational to work with such a supportive communitiy that the SolarCoin people are with the cool people that founded it and then the great people working from the CCN team and the move to PoS. An update to progress of the Stand-alone Solar system on the balcony #solarcoinalphaproject. Remaining:5) Communication box wiring --> DONE6) Dry test and link to API. --> DONE7) Stability and running for 1-2 weeks. --> ONGOING Writing the white paper --> ONGOINGI am now in academic writing mode. I have another paper to present at WCPEC-6 next week in Kyoto on a similar topic so it is taking my time this week. But I will be writing this solarcoin paper shortly after and uploading it to Solcrypto.com. I have also recently realized that a stand alone self-powered "node" that supports the blockchain is really helpful. Each of the "nodes" are geographically diverse and all they need is an internet connection and the sun. The system that we have made is working on the 7th floor of a downtown Tokyo balcony and it is seriously getting shaded and away from the optimum solar conditions yet I charged my phone off it every few days, and it is running the monitoring infrastructure. I will share a photo here. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9_OQXnmZdVmeXp2d2EtUnVXMG95SjNxaDJSZnB6bWt0TmQ0/view?usp=sharingThe exciting news. The software company has said that it is possible to send out automated data packets that are encrypted at 256bit to any server/location or even to an SMS or email. These are the next steps to explore in this proof of concept to connect a stand alone system to the blockchain. -Thank you, lfloorwalker Hi all, Thanks Corather and Mazzaneo for mentions. A short update on my project called the #solarcoinalphaproject. I promised that the first version would be out by late October so I thought I had better inform about the schedules. I am running behind schedule. The goal of the project is more of a running proof of concept to show that an encrypted signal can be sent from a stand-alone PV system's API to any required receivers to accurately and securely prove the number of solarcoin's being generated by the system during daylight hours of operation. 0) Design completed. Electrical design and then some tests of the gateway and its communication to the software teams API. Completed. I had some initial road blocks here. 1) Components procured and delivered. So far it also includes a global pyranometer enabling the system to have a prediction mechanism inbuilt based on historical weather data for the location. 2) Weather proofing tested for battery box. 3) Power system DC Wiring half completed. 4) Meeting with software team completed. Understand tasks. Remaining: 5) Communication box wiring 6) Dry test and link to API. 7) Stability and running for 1-2 weeks. Writing the white paper (in parallel) to explain the prediction technology, the link to the API and possible further work ( I hope others can pick up from where I stop) i.e. secure blockchain calls and receives because my area of expertise is solar yield prediction technology, solar PV systems and PV monitoring systems, not networking security. Please note, the system is only a proof of concept intended to show what could be done theoretically. It would not interfere with anything. Thank you, -lfloorwalker I saw pictures of this last night!!!!! Check out Solcrypto's tweet to see one of them. He asked me not to share the other pictures, so I won't. But I can share how frickin' exciting it is!!! Do we have our very own young Musk here??? Luke, on a very genuine note, I truly admire your excitement and dedication. You are a light to us all!
