Request for help.
SolarCoin needs a 1 page flyer.  Here is an earlier version.  http://solarcoin.org/forum/download/file.php?id=7&sid=f06f29f4a0ae7a58fa89e26e67a5d8bb generously created by Doug Felman in Visio.  Would anyone be interested in creating a new flyer that would be in word or some other common format for translation and ongoing editing.
Nick
Do we have the original visio format ? Have someone moved forward on this ?
thanks

Unfortunately don't have the original visio file. So it has to be created from scratch.

Solarcoin (§ SLR) are like airmiles. Each 1 Mhw generated gets you §1 free. Solarcoins can purchase what others will trade: USD,BTC, Soy candles..etc.

What's up guys?  I'm listening to the Bitcoins & Gravy podcast right now...

Thanks again for your patience everyone with the PoSV wallet updates.  Indeed this transition took much longer than we anticipated but nonetheless Solarcoin will be securing it's network and it's future with this transition.

Cheers,
Patrick

*edit* Also your team might consider getting a CryptoID block explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/

It is a full-featured block explorer and provides lots of valuable information for investors and users.

Just wanted to +1 this. Smiley

Nice insight.

Displays: Rich list / largest wallets / # of wallets / wealth distribution / search.

Here's CCN's display : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ccn/#!rich

Generation pool wallets might skew things? Maybe they could be omitted from view?

Can't we have both? Cheesy

PS: Does anyone know the cost? It doesn't say on the website, just to contact them.

Not sure of the cost?  There's a note saying you may have to contribute towards hosting costs?  I've emailed for clarification.

It looks like it's 0.4 BTC per year for the enhanced (CryptoID) blockchain explorer. I'm taking BTC donations from the community for the first year…we can try it and see if we like it. Here's the address to donate:

1C3kvbmk9cMS6HwePSs7ohDw7PqfEKKs1X

I have donated the first 0.07347982 BTC to the wallet. Once we hit 0.4 BTC, I'll send it to the fellow who builds/hosts the explorer.

Here's the wallet details - in case you want to follow the donations:

By the way, you can contact cryptoID and request that they label wallets such as those that are entrusted to the Solarcoin Foundation, as well as label exchange wallets that you identify, like the one we have requested labeled as Bittrex: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ccn/#!wallets

We discussed the removal and/or tagging of the reward/generator addresses, and trying to exclude them from the financial picture, as technically they are not in circulation, as they will only be given out as a result of solar production over the next 40 years.

I hadn't thought of the Bittrex one, but did see it in the CCN cryptoID explorer. Is that an accumulation of all the Bittrex CCN addresses Users currently have active in the exchange? If so, how would you know they are Bittrex addresses?

Now we just need to get that donation address up to 0.4 BTC to pay the man!  Smiley  We're currently still sitting at 0.07347982 BTC.

Yes, and the balance of individual addresses in the BITTREX wallet mean little to nothing about the balance of the users, the actual user's balance is only tracked in BITTREX database.

The wallets are "guesstimated" through taint analysis, which is mostly relevant for exchanges, and they are under-estimations, BITTREX has more addresses which could not be tainted so far (but some may become tainted in future).

Also the address 8YPZM79GjmZti34fhY2Rpra9meRTqtsn7R is likely to be BITTREX cold wallet (no way to be sure until the coins there are spent, could also be someone buying on BITTREX and accumulating)

I just attempted to send 0.25 to the address with QuickBT but it seems to have buggered. Grrr... Will keep checking, hopefully it shows up or I will need to contact them. The funds came out of my bank account but the BTC isn't showing yet.

Have you used QuickBT before? You can only buy .25 per day and my first attempt went pear-shaped... So I tried again with .05 and it went through. I suspect I need to wait overnight for the funds correction to happen at the bank. Either way another 0.2 will be added by me but I may have to wait until tomorrow to do it. Smiley

Thank you for setting this up!

I've never used QuickBT before…I'm fortunate in that I have a reputable company (http://www.canadianbitcoins.com/) in town just a few blocks away from my house, that deals in cash when selling/buying bitcoin Smiley

I see the 0.05 has been confirmed.

We're currently up to 0.12347982 BTC

Thanks  Smiley

Didn't think there would be so many coins in miningpoolhub…have to go see if I left some there.

Epiphany;

I accidentally moved some BTC from another one of my wallets into this one.  lol  I was trying to move some more buying BTC into my Bittrex account and accidentally put it in this wallet.  If you pay the other 0.2 you indicated, I will pay the remaining owing for the explorer.  Wink

So I'm having a sniffing frenzy right now. I finally picked up my candles! You all know the ones, the fancy soy ones from the store in Cyprus that accepts SolarCoin???  Grin

The scents are just fabulous. I ordered 10, one for me and the rest as gifts and I am having a helluva job deciding which one I want for me. The Cotton Sheets one blew my mind, it might have to be the one I keep. Wink But hubby needs to decide his favourite first before we can choose.
