Anyone knows what's happening with de.kano.is:3333 pool I'm receiving no replay :O :O
It is ping replying, so whatever it is is up, maybe a service has locked up.

It is ping replying, so whatever it is is up, maybe a service has locked up. It was connections to the DE node itself (at 20:04 UTC) Probably some network issue in DE rather than a node problem. It was pretty much an immediate failover and failback for most people on DE, but of course if you have a backup pool set to NL, it would have meant simply a failover to NL then back to DE shortly after. It woke me up, I looked at the connection count that had immediately come back, it had also not lost connection with the main pool, so I went back to sleep for 5 minutes -- I'm running, what will hopefully be a final test, of a 3 week run of 'live' data to the backup server (that takes a bit over 2 days to run) Assuming I find no more problems (which I expect to be the case this time) I have a final full code review of the changes that I'll do, then I'll be updating the live DB code to the new version, probably in a few days. This is the first, but biggest step, to being able to resolve the majority of the disconnects in the future, that happen every so often.

……sold it for a pretty good profit at the middle before it went down. These long term waves happen on almost every Alt-Coin, almost every one. There are also a lot that never move and are usually delisted after a time.
For trading I would suggest to discuss @ other board or https://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=649649 Dannn, its 5am here…where is our blocks

@ firetreeactual - I'm like you and run 2 741's at home now and looking to try running 3rd soon and shipping few to Labrador soon. I wanted to know how you handle several 741's running at home (ie. sound / heat). I had friends with free electricity that wanted to host some of them but in this summer heat miners are too much for apartments and they bailed out. Well...I don't know where you're at...but I'm on Kaua'i Island in the western Hawaiian Islands at about 21N. Temps are relatively temperate (pun intended) here, and seldom do I see anything over 85F in my flat. I have 20in window fans running on the south and north windows to keep a cross flow. However...I have my miners on a wire shelving rack in my bath, which is fairly spacious as it's a wheelchair access flat (no, I don't use one...I just got lucky on what was open when I rented it). Their butt ends (exhaust) are up against the open louvered window, with another 20 in box fan hanging on the front edge of the rack, and blowing air (not at full blast, though) over/through the 741s, the power supply bricks, and the two 2400W line conditioners (one for each set of PSUs). I don't notice any increase in ambient heat in the bath, actually, but there's a fair amount of air moving through there, even though I keep the sliding pocket door all but 4 in closed to limit the noise as well. Basically, if you don't have your miner (741 or otherwise) next to a window in a non-A/C room, you're basically running a room heater that's going to burn itself out rather soon. The nice part, however, is that the 741s I'm running appear to do self-clocking...IOW, they sense the temps/fan speed/etc. and will reclock/reboot to optimize. The temp needs to get over 100, but then it will reboot to a slower clock, and continue that cycle until it reaches a relatively happy medium. Took me a while to realize this, and I kept hard booting one of them thinking something was wrong...until the one I wasn't messing with settled in, and made me look like a maroon. I've seen one of them take maybe five minutes to settle in, but one time it was 15 minutes when the ambient was higher. They've been running each at >8TH with temps around 96 for several weeks now. Ah...the noise...well, they're better than an S7 for sure, but still rather mouthy...

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

This morning I had 1/3 running at 29C, and 2 at 30/31/32 and almost hit under 2900 RPM for all 3 of them. Later things changed and RPM increased but CPU temperature remained the same. I will get some help in a few days with testing out better venting out solutions.

I should have been more specific...my temps run 40/96 more or less constantly. It's when that second temp gets over 100 that it will begin cycling/reclocking...or at least so it seems.

Kano, could you please PM me your contact email address? I have an account issue I would like to email you about, it will come from the same address as my account registered on your site. Thank you.
Use the address that the pool emails you from. The last block I mined and had a reward from was block 423717 a long time ago, I don't think I've ever received an email from the pool. I searched my email to be sure and didn't see any, so I changed my password so that the pool would email me and the message states: "P.S. don't reply to this e-mail, no one will get the reply There is a contact e-mail address (that changes often) at https://www.kano.is/ or visit us on FreeNode IRC #kano.is" but I cannot locate an email address anywhere on the site. If you could direct me to its location there I will email you, thanks again.

DE node dropped everyone mining on DE for a couple of minutes at 11:27 UTC The connections all dropped to zero, so everyone on DE will have failed over. Restarting the node software made everyone reconnect straight away - all good again.
