There was a lot of hype about this pool. I have switched from slush and started mining. But now I understand that there is no payout treshold. So if I get a lot of small payments from the pool to my wallet later when I wish to exchange BTC to USD I will pay transaction fee about 10% from the BTC amount?
The fees that you are charged to exchange BTC to USD depends on the Exchange you use for the transaction. If they charge 10%, it will be 10% no matter where your BTC comes from. My exchange charges 1.49% to sell BCT directly to my bank account. Now, I have a feeling that you are really asking about transaction fees to consolidate all of your payouts to another wallet. Here is an example; I accumulate payouts from Kano into a Blockchain.info wallet and send it all to my KeepKey hardware wallet once it gets over 1 BTC. So, neither the consolidation or exchange is anywhere near 10% in my case. June 72 payments 1.5BTC 0.0019805 Fees 0.13% July 59 Payments 1.5BTC 0.0024060 Fees 0.16% And to expand on Carl's point, it's the number of payments you are consolidating that determines the fee needed, not the amount of BTC. For example, I know that I'm not moving 1.5BTC when consolidating 50+ payments since Carl is running more hash than I, but the fee is the same ~0.002+

Yeah it's the size of the transaction in bytes that is used to determine the fee, not the amount of BTC. ... yet our payout just got confirmed by another pool again Woo to the 42,000sat fee (it's now about $1.67)

I mean about 2 cases:
1) I set treshold to 1BTC at Slush and I receive one payment to my wallet.
2) I get 100 payments from Kano each 0.01BTC and total amount 1BTC
In the second case I will pay more in transaction fees when I will decide to exchange my BTC to USD ?

The more transactions, the more paid in fees no matter where it's going (unless sent as a zero-fee transaction). So you are correct.

my first block in Kano took 10 days. torontobitcoinman…7R4 15btc reward Yepp, but you have almost 1PH power... its took me lil more time with my 15TH what kind of staff do you mine? but anyway Congratulations! I mine BTC mostly. most of my machines in slushpool but i am getting 1030 new s9s within 2.5 months on different batches and if things are good and no one minds i will direct them to kano so that i depend less on luck. slushpool has been bad for over 2 months. I also have a couple of hundred pandas mining eth. I am selling those by the way. they are in China with awesome hosting and support directly from pandaminers.

Is Kano pool compatible with Nicehash rental mining contracts ? What's the attitude of the pool/miners toward this type of mining ? P_

Did you just say you're getting another 1030 new S9's? As in 1000 and 30? Damn son! You got your own fusion reactor or something powering those things! At the top of Everest for free cooling.

Most here I would say, of the ones that post, are not big fans of contract mining because there is too much room for abuse. But my perspective is that it's your abuse so as my stance on race relations and skin color is the same as on physical mining vs cloud mining, too each their own. I could care less what color you are or how you mine. Sorry watching too much news

I tried it over about a six month stretch a while back and came to the conclusion that the best you could do was break even. It just wasn't worth it and it did appear to be less than statistically normal on the pool overall.

Yeah, bro something "fusion reactor" I believe... but seriously how many kw/mw those things use? Aiee.... If averaging the S9s at 13.5Th, that's 1323W * 1030 = 1,362,690W. That's 1.363Mw!... + power for cooling Barely keeping up with my 4 S9s. Had to secretly increase the power of the breakers at my place

Aluminum wire needs to be even thicker, (lower gauge number is thicker.) Changing breakers to a higher value without having the needed wire thickness to handle the current is living life dangerously. Just saying. dzimmerm

I also have a couple of hundred pandas mining eth. I am selling those by the way. they are in China with awesome hosting and support directly from pandaminers. Well what I'm working on now, with a few minor changes also in the works, is (as I've mentioned before but you probably can't find it in the long history of posts) The Cloud mining code that a few of the large miners will be allowed to use. Basically allow you to long term rent out some of your hash rate, but the renters will see your shift graph and your total rental level, so they will be able to be certain there's hardware behind what they are paying for. Also as mentioned, I will only allow miners I've met and seen their hardware to be cloud providers. I've been travelling around a bit lately and seen quite a lot of hardware and met quite a few people Next stop is Japan and China next month - timed to also coincide with the BitKan summit. Once the cloud code is up and running, the pool accounting/payout changes will be the next priority after that. Edit: and for everyone else, a little info about the pool, I have reasonably good contact with the owners of over 60% of the pool hash rate.
