Block by blockmines!
Well that was amusing The switch to BIP91 worked well ... My IRC log: 11:24 <@kanoi> well correction I'm now signalling bip91 :) 11:25 <@kanoi> (for 60 seconds so far :) 11:27 <@kanoi> but most important of all - the blocks now (including the last one) say ".. KanoPool" (with a cat there :) 11:28 <@kanoi> meh blocks only 34% full and it's already taking ... 4ms to generate the work :P :D 11:28 <@kanoi> 46 ... 11:30 <@kanoi> LOLOL 11:30 <@kanoi> Block :D 11:30 <@kanoi> well that change worked well!!!!!!! :D
Master Kano I have a question. From what I've read on the internet if 80% of the miners do the BIP91 switch like you did then the coin will not split in two, is that true? And if it is then how can we know what percentage of miners have done that switch already? Thanks!

So as long as yaw coins are not with someone who rejects bit-1 blocks, or yaw running a bit-1 valid wallet, yaw all good ... for the next 3 months

Segwit2x in 3 months ... when Core may yet again try to screw things up. Edit: bitcoin is run by miners. Doesn't matter what anyone else high on drugs thinks, it is run by miners. No miners means no confirmations. Tiny miners means no security. BIP91 was a miner activation - miners all (but a few) agreed - it happened. That's how bitcoin works.

Throwing some more hash at the pool. Should be up to full speed in a few days. Not massive like some, but for me its a solid increase.

Block by dsjif! This is your 6th Kano block! This is our 2nd of BLOCK FRIDAY! I thought we'd have a payout with the last block. The last block I got paid for was 476607. Am I out of sync, or is that right? Thanks for any input! Mine on!

There were 2 payouts: 476729 de9bc2d517d2435e933c255c42fb2a50635aec429fa7ea1f452f7cbce319811f 476772 a83e86a36f2978041b2dbd78523e347dd28e58890b6844ef3574a510dc472e24

But they weren't in my Core wallet... I just took another look, not there. THEN, I realized my Core wallet was not ONLINE. LOL. It is syncing now. I'm sure they will be there in a few minutes. Sorry for the confusion on my part. That's just they way my day has gone.

With regards to transactions, for everyone, there's not going to be any holding back of payouts between now and the next point of contention - which is Segwit2x in a few months - unless Core has fucked up the SegWit code and everything goes to crap with SegWit transactions. More than 99% of blocks are with BIP91/SegWit so that resolves any issues there already.
The 1-Aug date is irrelevant, has nothing to do with miners, and has no affect on our mining.

Don't ask me about wallets - I only use a bitcoind wallet (and no the pool wallet doesn't run qt either - no chance I'd risk all that money with that cludge ) Someone else will need to answer.

Anyone else having issues with the CKPool iPhone app? Seems the last few days (noticed it for sure yesterday) that the Hashing screen listing my miners seems to be stuck and not updating (I currently have 1 down that is showing as mining, not listed under Idle). Any suggestions?

Coinbase claims that it will stop accepting any deposit. I wonder what will happen to the deposit from Kanopool. It seems that BTC.com is an option if Coinbase stops service temporarily. Thanks!

Just have your revenue to go your Core wallet instead for the time being. Don't use an exchange, perhaps, until things settle out for you.
