So with all the FUD and epic Bitcoin price drop, how is everyone's profit margin looking? Getting to around break even for me here in Ireland. Wonder where the bottom is?

I think there will be a lot of panicked folk out there unplugging their miners, and shoving them on eBay.  Roll Eyes

Could be a great opportunity to pick up more gear.

PS. I'm not one of them. Grin

Yea not looking great for me...

My costs are about $200 a month per unit all in - this includes all electric, cooling, internet, etc.

I'll keep mining though.  Luckily I don't need the cash flow now.

That's really incredible.  I am paying 16 cents USD per kWh until end of April, and then for summer it increases to 23 cents USD per kWh.

6.5¢ here in the N.E. USA (e.g. ~$50 per 1,200 watts per month)

The BTCest mining pool (<1% fee): KanoPool

Care to clear up why you deleted this quote?

Par Avion - I don't know how many people I speak for on this pool/forum   Please leave.  You have been nothing but an idiot complaining.  I read posts quickly, and I come across general questions answers and opinions, then I read a really stupid negative one, and just for fun, because I really never look to see who posted it, on the negative ones, I see your name... ALL THE TIME

Maybe it was you that brought bad luck?  When did you join?

Others, please Register your vote - to Kick or not to kick  :-)

You don't kick people just because you don't agree with them. It's called Freedom of Speech. We live in a democracy. Your attitude should be: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." Just let stupid people be. The best way to put them in their proper place? Ignore them.

While I agree with this statement, if we are getting politically correct, please note that not all users here live in a democracy and that could be offensive to some.

Ouch!  My electricity is at 10 cents USD and that was enough for me to have my miners hosted.  Now I'm saving money every month. Cheesy

You would be a prime candidate for a host data center if any of them had any space.

I created another Kano Stats Android app.

If someone want to try it, just message me and I will share the apk

At the moment it has:

User/Pool View
Workers View (Expandable/scrollable list with all the workers' stats individually)
Notification on New block
Notification on User's HashRate drop
User/Pool Hashrate Widget
Secure/https communications

I implemented also Notifications on Workers' HashRate (indiv.) drop, but is not included in this version because it is needed to improve its logic.
I am in development/testing stage so new ideas are welcomed.  Smiley

While I agree with your ignore them sentiment, your understanding of freedom of speech is incorrect. Freedom of speech means you have the right to express yourself, but that does not excuse you from the repercussions of your expression, be it ridicule or banning. Freedom of speech does not mean that someone has to suffer your expression, especially on a public platform like a forum such as this. You have the right to freedom of speech so you can say what you like on your own blog but you run the risk of being banned on someone else's platform such as this.

NEVER!!! Cheesy Cheesy I mine mostly for the coin and its potential future value, but I was using an L3+ to pay the electric bills. If the price keeps dropping money will need to come out of pocket. Ah well.

I created another Kano Stats Android app.
Looks amazing.  I recalled your name and saw that you and I did a little bit of "going after it", so I can't believe I am saying this, but I wonder if we should figure out a way to work together?  I am already gathering and archiving a lot of info (and doing it so that kano never gets hit more than once per 3 seconds), but don't have a good way to show it.  I even have historical in case you know how to do charts.  I do not have API code hooked in yet, but I have written a very flexible one that would only take a day or so to hook in.  The minergain site also grabs info from many pools, not just Kano.  Anyway, what are your plans for making money on this (one time selling the app, subscription or just a free contribution like I am doing)?  Obviously that is the first question to see it makes sense.

Thanks for thinking about it and have an amazing weekend!  Mine On!
