Speaking of notifications... I just realized today that my CKPool Status app isn't notifying me. I know it just updated, so I'm wondering if anyone else isn't getting refreshed #s and notifications.

You'll know for sure if you try to resave your settings. Mine is saying invalid API even though I haven't made any changes.

Sorry if kinda off topic.

iPhone or Android?  My iPhone CKPool app is working...I just had miner go down and it notified me right away.

I feel like I'm walking face-first into an Apple vs. Android joke, but... It's the Android app.

Haha!  I wasn't trying to be funny but since there are 2 different CKPool apps by 2 different developers you have to be clear which one you are posting about Grin

@DrSha: Thanks for the extra info on how mining works a few pages back. I turned off the "noob filter" on my messaging - didn't realize I had it turned on.

@Kano: Thanks for all the detailed info on what actually occurs during mining. I'm gonna have to read it about 100 times before I can pretend to understand it all Hahaha.

The luckiest kid who went to high school with Kano is the one who sat behind him in math class - they both got straight A's - lol

Mine on!  Grin

Quick question on the Workers>Shifts>Inv Diff column on the website:

Why do some shifts have 0s when I wasn't aware of any mining outages?

I can understand the ones where my internet went down, accidental unplugging, etc., but what about the ones where the rest of the row looked like everything was running fine? Thanks!

Ahh, thanks... Well, now I wish there were more zeros...

Not sure why it didn't dawn on me that Inv meant Invalid. D'oh!

Edit: Anything I can do config-wise to reduce Invalids?

Hi
I enter with 4 antminer s9 to the kano pool from 6 days ago but there is no reward and payment to now. Not even in site in payment section there is no payment or reward record.
All these times my workers are shown and work perfectly.
Why? Whats my problem?

Once again, WE have to find a block before you get paid.  That's how it works around here and EVERY OTHER POOL.

Does this look right.. at times lots of invalids and sometimes zero invalids?

Is that normal?  Is there anything I can so or should do to correct or is that just the nature of the beast?

On the ethernet hub I am plugged into, most of the lights are green but 2 of them are yellow most of the time?  is this hardware related?  Could that be what is causing this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Does not look horrible. You can check on the worker page and click on the show details for invalids check box and you can see what the invalids are. You are almost always going to have some invalids in my experience.

I typically keep an eye on the pool Invalid % (e.g. 0.34%) in the top left corner of the website in comparison to my Invalid % (e.g. 0.3%) on the Worker page to make sure I'm at least in line with everyone else... Not sure what I would do if it wasn't, though. Restart, I suppose.

I've been mining on Kano since Jan 21st with a single S9, but my shift graph seems to have maxed out at 8.9, I thought the ramp was a couple of weeks?  I'm sure I'm missing something, but if the ramp time depends on us finding a block, then it was a bad time to switch...  Shocked

Are you sure your S9 hasn't dropped a board and is running at 2/3rd power?  You're well within the 5Nd at this point.
