...
Am I submitting shares in the future? -1s Cheesy
...
Yep now that the main server is a little more busy that it used to be ... used to be pretty bored, now it's twice pretty bored Tongue ...
The time when the request hits ckdb (now), then until it gets the data, it can be delayed enough nanoseconds for the 'second' value to go forward awaiting the results, if it was a few nanoseconds before the next second, then a share to arrive, then the result of the workers request to be supplied.
Thus ends up: -1
i.e. the share arrived (just) after the request started.

and confirmed

--

Edit: I guess the most important point to note about that is that blockchain.xyz doesn't do anything but make transactions.
Pools/Miners confirmed transactions.
So if some web site is silly enough to make up their own rules about bitcoin, it doesn't matter, just ignore them.
Once a transaction is in a valid block, what they say means nothing.

Thats silly, even with the "bad block" we're still at over 100% luck. Meanwhile nicehash pays -1% to -6% + applies 2% fee to renter and 2% fee to miners.

As others have said pool luck is 100%+ so we are doing well. Yes we will get some bad luck blocks but we also get some extremely lucky blocks like the 10min block before. It all balances out in the end so just sit tight sit back and watch the blocks come on in. Some will be slow, some will be quick, and some will be as expected but that is the nature of a PPLNS pool.

Here it is end of 2015 year calc as Dec, 30 2015..

102.27% - all time luck for 1 year and 3 months  (+2.27%)
100.6% - tx fees paid to miners (0.6%)

Total:

[ 100% (block reward)  - 0.9% (pool fee) + 0.6% (tx fees paid to miners) ] * 1,0227 (+2.27% long term luck) = 101.96 = 102%

Try to find another pool   who pays +2% to their miners.
All PPS pools have 2-4% fees so you will be paid 96-98% so total will be less for -4-6% from your possible profit at kano.is pool.

This is simplified calc for sure but maybe it helps to understand math better.   This was already told by kano many times but maybe in another words,  , please try to read at least 100 last pages.

Perhaps all of us recent kano converts need to be properly trained on the use of chicken to improve pool luck?  I for one have been grilling steaks on my S7, but now I'm worried that this is negatively affecting pool luck...

It is all about the $$$$.  What is the $$$ for NiceHash vs CKPool?  You have to consider this over a period of time without considering the security of "I am use to my old pool."  It is all about the $$$$.

Another close second consideration is the learning and responsiveness of the pool and forum.  With Kano, he is right here "unless he is sleeping."  Do not base your decision on feelings...It is all about the $$$$.
