Bitmain just informed me that they can only ship 2 of the L3's I paid for..lol  other can be shiped july 15.. they oversold on Monday.  Any recommendation on other manufactures for a tube type miner?

Don't bother replying, I'll just delete it.

I was thinking the same!  What brings you, kano-san, to Utah?  I road trip often through Utah on my avatar, never actually stay though!  I do love I80 up north into Wyoming.  Lots of space!!
Now back to our regularly scheduled program, Block busting action!!

Whelp, I was able to get an order in for the April 25th Batch of S9's @ 13Th so i will soon be adding another s9 to my motley crew and save up to get one of the 14Th+ ones if they have another batch in the future.

At this point I can probably phase out my S5's, sell em on Ebay. Someone with cheaper power can put them to better use than I. Just run two S9's (At 13.5 and 13TH) and 2 S7's @ 5Th give or take.

What type of monthly pay out are you getting on the S9?

It all depends on the size of the pool as well as the BTC price and of course the luck but I think it should be around somewhere $140-$180 bucks of each 13.5 TH per month.

Sounds like you have some Utah sand in your manginia and needing to pick on a noob... You should be offering help to anyone coming in and not being a control freak with the delete. Last i checked the more ppl in this the higher BTC goes and we all make more money..
If you would like just confirm the bitmain shipping with Bella. I can even forward you the emails if need.

WOW, you really are a noob.  Look, it's real easy, try to keep up:

1) L3 from BiteMe is NOT a bitcoin miner so therefore is not only inappropriate for this thread but also derided (look it up)
2) If you can't even spell "mangina" right you might as well GTFO.  We appreciate any insults, criticisms and sarcasm to be done with proper spelling and grammar.  Otherwise how are we supposed to know WTF you're talking about?   Cheesy

Sorry, kano-san, for the OT rant, but sometimes the ignorance proudly shown by the clueless is too much to take!    Wink

But I also just got done with all the electric upgrades and was ready to move them all to a rack thats has a window behind it.  Just something as simple as moving them and haveing the hot exhaust blow straight out the window even with a screen sent most of the heat outside. and it didnt take long till the air temp in the garage was down only about 6 degrees more then it was outside. So just that did more then a big window fan was doing.  But I knew I could not keep them that close to an open window permanently and still wanted to get more of the exhausted heat outside without it mixing with any of the incoming air.  So today I finished off the project with 3d printed fan shrouds and 2 feet of dryer vent hose on the back of each miner. Then I used a pcs of wood with 4-inch holes cut out that the ends of the hoses go threw and cut to fit in the window frame so I can seal out the elements.  Now my chip temps are lower then what was normal even on some pretty cold nights and my fans are running a heck of a lot slower then even too.  So I think even in the hottest days of summer It will not be any ware near as hot as the garage got on Sunday.

I humbly want to provide some input in regards to cooling.
I have some experience in cooling. Mostly with servers, less with ASIC miners. On a rack, the servers at the bottom will always be cooler due thermodinamics. Exhaust heat will rise. So in general try to put all your miners at the lowest level near the floor so that they get the coolest air. In multi level houses basements are a good place to locate them. Don't aim the miner's exhaust in such a way that is hits the PSU or another miner. Also if you have to stack them don't stack them directly above. If possible use metal racks that can also help in dissipating heat much better than wood or other materials.

If you think that these little quibbles are actually anyone "picking on you", then perhaps the interwebs isn't the place for you.  Undecided

I am a newbie and have am delighted I chose this pool for my 17.5 ish TH/s.

I just noted a kind odd thing, has anyone noticed that the last 15 payouts were paid with the same price for bitcoins? ($1212.03 USD).

Yes, I am trying to learn and do keep a spreadsheet of my data/payouts, etc.

Up until these last 15 payouts, the prices was always different, reflecting the current bitcoin price at the time of the payout, this "anomaly" just caught my detailed oriented eye.

Anyway, Mine On!!! (I still need a few more months to realize my ROI and become mostly profitable).
I'm not sure exactly what the question is Smiley
But the BTC/$ price is certainly considered random Smiley

If you are referring to your BTC reward, well that of course will also appear somewhat random due to pool luck vs pool hash rate vs your hash rate.

Not sure I can calculate that offhand as I run several miners, but it is getting (stats from Kano):

Worker   13.259k   7s   9,058   120,100,022   15.76THs   11m 48s   0.099%   0.040%   13.92THs

I know this month, with all my miners, I have made around  $265

Haha, that's funny!  Last 15 were payed with the same price for Bitcoin???  How is that?  You get payed certain amount of BTC, it is up to you how much you sell it for.  Smiley

Yeah, i think you have your fundamentals wrong, if you mine you get BTC. Not dollars,
if you want to know how much dollars you have, take the sum of your BTC and convert that to dollars against the actual price.
