...When we had like 30PH we were hitting 3-5 blocks a day no problem!  Now we got 50PH and are struggling with just 2 blocks!  Doesn't make any sense!  Huh
It makes perfect sense, you're employing selective memory.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

Damn right!  It's about time!  When we had like 30PH we were hitting 3-5 blocks a day no problem!  Now we got 50PH and are struggling with just 2 blocks!  Doesn't make any sense!  Huh
Um - you need to think twice about that?

At 50PH we currently expect 1.94 blocks a day.

So I've really no idea what you are actually saying?
That dang difficulty increase... LOL Tongue

So we seem to have a battle for first place, at the top of the hash rate list, between cobramining and blockmines!
I think blockmines might take the lead in the next few days (or sooner) Smiley

I'm probably wrong, but I've been mining here for about a year and think this is the highest I've seen the pool hash rate...was 50 when I looked last.

Yowza...good work, Kano.  Kiss

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

I earned my first reward here on April 15th 2016. That reward was 0.00004157 BTC.

So far I have earned 47.06235960 BTC on Kano Pool. Sure wish I still had them all!! LOL

Yes, it is definitely the highest pool hash rate I have seen! As Ralph Kramden would say, "To the moon, Alice!!!"
Guess I'm showing my age with that quote. LOL  Cheesy

As FireTree said, great work Kano!  Grin Grin Grin

Been "off the grid" for 5 days sailing 40 miles off-shore from South Carolina to New Jersey. Too many pages to read to catch up, so I just read last five. Gotta say, we were having a fantastic April when I left and it has gotten even better!! Way to rock it, fellow miners! Cheesy

@blockchainmines: Congrats on cranking up your hashing total. I enjoyed watching your videos and seeing your setup. Very happy to have you here at Kano Pool. Cheesy

~~~snip
Wow that had to get pretty hot if it caused the s9 to shut down from over heat protection. Bitmain claims the s9s overheat protection kicks in at 125C on the chip 2 temps compared to only 80c on the s7s   So if that is the case that the s9s can go that high of a temp before shutting down it would have to be pretty ripping hot.
All I know is my Awesome Miner application showed that the S9 miner had shut down because of high temps. I wasn't here at the time.
I have removed the board I determined was faulty and the two remaining boards are hashing just fine within normal temps. Not sure what happened as I was at work.
It's another hot one around here today. Outdoor temps already 86F. But all the miner temps are within a good range.
COMEONBLOCKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
My brand new one is doing that exact same thing. I am sending it back to Bitmain after sending them logs and pictures. They told me the same thing, but when I look at the logs the first hash board / second chip hits 103 with the first chip only hitting 70 and then a ton of failed shutdown due to temp but the other boards are fine and this is in my server room closet with 67 f air blowing on it, so it is definitely not overheating from environmental, I think there is an issue with that board. Maybe not enough thermal past on the heat sinks or something.
Good luck with the repair. Hope it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg to send it back.
Mine are WAY out of warranty, so I'll have to suck up the repair costs for the hash board when I send it to Denver.
Yep April has been good month - and a record of course also Cheesy
Avg 34.94PHs
Blocks 61
Expected 41.36
Mean Diff% 67.81%
Mean Txn% 111.07%
Luck% 147.47%
PPS% 162.33%
Anyone unsure about that PPS%, it's the total of how much the pool rewarded versus the expected 100% PPS reward for the whole pool for the month.
Each miner will of course get a different result depending upon when they mined and if they mined all month etc. but it's also random.
If you mined all month with the same hash rate, your total reward should be close to that 162.33% - it's random of course how close, and can be above or below it.
If you mined sporadically, or changed your hash rate often, then your result will have higher variance - but again, random how close, and can be above or below.
But most of all, all those miners who've been here since before November last year and have stayed around, they will of course have done very well out of making that choice not to leave after having 2 VERY good months since then recovering the bad month and putting everyone well ahead Cheesy
