What subforum do you think I could post in to check why my S7 has one board going over 70C at 612Mhz while the other two are at 63C. Do you think it might need internal cleaning?
Hardware forum would be best.

Pool has taken a slight dip under 70PH. But should be back over it once my hosting facility has more capacity and my down miners are brought back online. These S9's are so unreliable 2 of the 50x S9s I bought are hashing at 2/3 of manufacturer documented hash rate just two days after initial deployment Luckily the warranty is there... Btw, does anyone have anything to say about T9's - are they really substantially more reliable than S9s? No problems with T9s so far. most are running below 80deg (average 77) except of 1 averaging 81deg with avrg hashrate od 12.4Th. All others averaging at 12.7Th. room temperature is 17deg

Why get a T9 over an S9?
Disliking of ROI, enjoyment of paying a higher energy cost, and enjoyment of purchasing extra cooling equipment and PSUs.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer. Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

Why get a T9 over an S9?
Also contemplating whether T9s would be worth the extra energy costs in long run due to better product longevity. I'd consider myself very lucky if half of my S9 ASICs last for 2 years, sustaining original hash rate. If an average T9 does last the expected 2 years without any faults, it could be a better option for ultra-low electricity cost mining farms.

I think proper cooling is very important, they can run in a 40deg C environment as advertised but the lowest the better. Mine are running in a 15-17 deg C room temp at internal temperature averaging 70 deg C.

All Fixed, Thanks !! The payouts go to the address you had at the exact time when the block was found. So when you change it, payouts for all new blocks after that, will go to the new address.

And you still have a positive ROI? We keep our building @ 24-26C.

Hey all
I wanted to know why my payout is very low i even bought a 800Ths rig for mining . now i lost the some bits. can some explain the calculation .
Block Block UTC Miner Reward N Diff N Range Pool N Avg Your % Your N Diff Your N Avg Your BTC 467976 24/May 23:43 15.12386617 3.001T 51hr 13m 9s 69.90PHs 0.07% 2.251G 52.42THs 0.01134201
This is my log .from payments .And rental rig was running for 3-4 hrs . I am new to this pool just want understand the calculation.
You get decreasing rewards in the blocks found for 5ND (currently about 2 days) after you stop mining. However, since you are short term mining, you are going to be extremely affected by the pool luck. e.g. if you look at the Pool->Luck graph you will see that luck goes up and down - which is what all bitcoin block finding does. Here, if you mine for a short while during a low luck period you will get paid badly. If you mine for a short while during a high luck period, you will get paid well. Basically short term mining is gambling on the luck. It can go up, down, or even be in the middle, but short term mining has much higher variance, i.e. is greatly affected by pool luck.
