Are you guys seeing what's going on with all of the cryptocurrency! It is dropping catastrophically!!!    . I'm hoping that the BTC won't go lower than $1500!? That's what is known as a "Market Correction".  What are your predictions? I got about 1 BTC right now and wondering if I should sell it or wait. |

What are your predictions? Given the quite public turmoil of debates over segwit and the potential to turn BTC into the next ETC, I'm still not seeing why it ever went over $1,200 to begin with (I have my own non-provable conspiracy-theories that involve segwit fanboys intentionally pumping the price, in order to force transactions and clog the mempool, with the long con being to persuade more people that we "need" segwit, but I'll not clog the pool thread with all that). |
If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.
Always be on the look out, because you never know when you'll be stalked by hit-men that eat nothing but cream cheese....

Investors who missed out will most likely see it as a time to buy in before the next wave.
News sites are reporting two conventions in New York made people "tired" of bitcoin. However that affects price...they didn't specify.
I'm salty Avalon never took two orders during that high time as they didn't provide a payment address; can't afford them now. Would have been 16TH for the pool.
Glad people are waking up to Kano being the best pool though.

It is actually sometimes a good thing because people take their money out when it is high, reinvest some of it when it is low and the coins start going back up. I would just prefer to have the knack to get out when it's high More time and experience I guess lol. |

I am back down to 14 bucks (from my measly PASC miners) and whatever coins I get from Kano's pool when we get another block. But I will just grow it back up. I need a new Refrigerator so selling at 2400 was a good deal for me. |

That's what is known as a "Market Correction". It's called GREED.... The reversal is not about greed, market corrections are a good and necessary thing. Corrections are actually what put a damper on greed; the bubble deflates a little instead of going way too high and deafening us all with a loud, giant " POP" while exploding all over us. |

During tulipmania (that lasted for years) you could buy a house for just one tulip. In my zip code the average house price is $615K (2515 sq ft median), which is grossly overpriced, in my opinion, but less than in LA or NY, I assume. This makes tulip mania levels much higher in my opinion. Once we get to 500K or above, I would probably buy a house or two, LOL Prediction: we correct to $1400, but go to $3300-3500 by December barring the network split, of course. |

I would say the 1900's should be a base. That's a 30% drop from peak. I bought some more @2k.
But I'm also not very concerned with short term price moves. I see bitcoin as diversification. I have no plans to sell in the next 5 or 10 years. I plan to put a percentage of my worth into bitcoin and simply hold it. I feel it has a better shot of making me very rich than other traditional investments.
