so has the desicion been made on the 600 million I thought the voting was still open? when you say your going to burn them is that the same as freezing them? and why have they decided on burning rather than destroying? just wondered cheers

I advised to send the coins to an unspendable address. This method requires no changes to the code, so no hard fork and they are quite unspendable. Some possible issues with blocktime changing due to so many coins to never stake again, but after a few tests that went as expected, the blocktimes are normal and the 600M coins are not staking, so after sending to the burn address, we achieve the goal and no need for any hardfork.

The reason why it is unspendable is that it requires a pubkey of all 0, which I believe is an invalid key, so it means cant ever be spent.

The voting for the 600M was quite clear, but it was also a condition for joining SuperNET, these extra coins serve no purpose and rather are detrimental to the coin. Now this is fixed.
