vegasguy, with respect that's wrong. If you have staked 0.05599925 as I did in one block, and it was accepted - the reward should be 0.1506 not 0.00001. It has nothing to do with the size of the block.

Edit: Looks to me like they are staking at the wrong percent

staking at 269% started at block 10101 so most of the stake earned would be paid at block 1440 - 10100 1% annaually and only a very small amount paid at 269% (number of blocks past 10101)
thats my guess

we are talking about blocks after 10100. I can list a few also. I already sent some to myself. I dont want to wait 8 hours to be told thats what I have to do anyway....  I had about half my seed in one chunk so made SOME, this issue is only gonna make more people upset...
edit: whats the smallest amount someone can confirm they got 259% for?

No they should stake at 269%. I had over 4000 confirms and staked 16 coins in block 10101 off of 3 coins.

Theres nothing to fix. Their blocks are way too small. All you guys can do now, is combine your blocks, and wait 24 hours, thats it. Note: When you do this , your giving your weight away to the whales for 24 hours.

Vegas

Hi,
How is blocks combined?

So any chance you know what the squares do over the ticks candlesticks?
Beef

Unless you send coins, nothing happens, even if the squares are "ticked" or not.

If you want to consolidate your blocks, or send the least mature coins, you would do this.

Go to setting/options/display and check "display coin control features", then close that window

Click send coins, click the "Inputs" tab, check "list mode". This will show you all the blocks, size, and their age. The oldest ones are the ones with the most confirmations.

Mark whichever blocks you want to send, move or consolidate, then click "OK" to close that window.

You will be back at the "send coins" tab, and the coins you send will be those that were previously selected. In the upper portion of the wallet, it will show "Amount after fee". You can copy this, and paste it to send. You can send them all to yourself, or wherever you want, and they will end up as one large block, rather than a bunch of tiny blocks.

Keep in mind, after sending they will need 24 hours to mature again. You also have to pay the transaction fee of 0.00001.

Let me know if I missed something, or if anything is unclear.

For anyone that missed this.

you need to wait 24 hours to get full 269% the blocks staking now have earned most of their stake at 1% annual rate. blocks staking in 12 hours time will have earned half a day @269% and half a day at 1% annual.so really need to wait until about 1pm GMT saturday to see first 269% a day blocks

So what you are saying unclepeter is that in the 2 hours or so since the switch to 269%, any blocks that stake will get say 22 hours at 1% annual, and only 2 hours at 269% daily?

It was also my understanding, from what cryptzo said earlier that all coins would stake at whatever the rate was at the time, hence the people not staking for 7 days in order to get 7 days worth of 269%

Im guessing you had your wallet locked for a little while so weight/age was building?  259% of 3 added to 3 is 10.77 seed

edit: never mind, with 4000 plus confirms that answers my question

I'm a little confused. So far my wallet shows my stake reward = 0.00001, but when I opened the transaction id and go to the explorer it shows stake output = 0.19001 currently at 28 confirmations..

c3e9fcaf6c1b06e38066921f0b34b1f85764eafa41236190b6f2f9eb40438954

is this normal? Will my wallet reflect the full .19001 after 120 confirmations? I had lots of 0.00001 rewards while I staked during 1% period. I have a feeling there might be something wrong where only a 0.00001 would be rewarded regardless of actual stake value?

Yeah I see the problem. I missed it in accellerated testing since day 1 goes a little slow and the problem sorts itself out over time because your coins pile up enough that they do eventually stake properly, and I couldn't check every block when blocks were flying by every 6 seconds in an accelerated test.

Basically, when a very tiny number of coins has it's age checked (and every little chunk has it's age checked) it's calculated and divided until it becomes zero. All the zeroes add up to nothing, the minimum age is triggered, and the minimum age results in practically nil.

You can pile up your coins and wait for tomorrow, but for now hang on to them. Day 1, block wise, is going to take longer than usual, and this is normal. Those of you having this issue, please stop staking now and keep your eye out for an update. Somewhat ironically, you are the network today, since people not having this problem will stake all their coins and have nothing left to offer the network. Blocks are going to grind to a halt because the people that hare having this problem are the people carrying the network.

This will be a coordinated hardfork with new wallets. You wont experience a problem unless you don't update in time, and if you do experience a problem in the fork, syncing on the the right fork will be easy because that's where practically all the blocks are going to be coming from.

There's nothing I can do for the tiny coins staked so far. I'm sorry.

so does that mean any coins staking on or before day 7 that do not stake before block 20101 they will not earn 269% but will be paid at 16% annual ?

This is interesting, I see the same thing on my transactions.

15 more blocks to confirm my first stake, my wallet shows 0.00001 reward, soon find out

Edit: Block explorer shows 0.00001 reward for my stakes. I'll use coin control to combine the blocks of .2-.25, and allow my large block to stake.

As far as I know, yes that is true. Dev was saying in an earlier post we talked about this, even though you might not get the full 7 days of "growth", everyone is on the same playing field so it averages out. So yes, after growth period it should start paying out at 16% annual growth.

wow. someone just staked 26.9 seeds

https://chainz.cryptoid.info/seed/address.dws?sPHzEA4WLWiMw84rPyA1bY122XfX1Y3Ex8.htm

looks like staking 10 seeds gave 26.9 .. exactly 269%. Fun to see math actually work.
