Hey Guys,

cryptocoinhub.com is at last least "up".
The delay to launch the site was due to some issues we experienced with the ssl cert provider and some other pointing issues that were caused by the wait to change nameservers.

Anyway I want to warn you guys not to be completely overjoyed yet about it as the setback cost time and at the moment the site is devoid of content so you may want to check on it later on in the day/night depending on where you are.
We're working on it all today so expect it to be to what we promised soon.

One of the members of the team working on this project stated that they have been speaking with a few up and coming artists about songcoin and they expressed interest. We plan to have a meeting with them and explain further as well as get them involved here in the community. As this progresses I'll let you know.

Well the Dev needs to stand up and do something.  He's got the pre-mine.

I'm done mining this coin for a loss.  I've never received a bounty.

Although now bounties aren't going to get things done (as they're practically worthless) -- real BTC needs to be used.

I don't want to flood the market with my SONG stash - but I've lost faith. 

If I had this coin (basically the pre-mine) - I'd put $10k into getting it fixed, consistent hash, working wallets, promotion and a real timeline.  It could be a good coin for services or goods - which is the route I'd take.

In addition - I think the pre-mine should be given away in some fashion.  People hate pre-mines.  Perhaps a nice faucet -- but one that requires you to help promote the coin in the process.  A lot of ideas that don't look scam-like could be considered.

Thanks HD and just so you know we're working hard on the immediate technical issues, results will come dedication and a little patience.

Eek - C-Cex now indicates the SONG coin is "out-of-sync."  They'll take it offline if this doesn't get corrected.

I can't even sync my own PC wallet.

Apologies for this not much I can do about the Hash I've only got 50Mh/s to play with at the moment.  Though I'm not 100% sure the current sync issues are solely related to the hash rate.

We're trying to sort it out.

Thanks again I've reported the issue to the exchange and I've let them know we're experiencing some technical issues that we're working on resolving asap.

Confirmations and sync are still happening albeit very slowly at the moment.

Some more Hash would help kick things along so if anyone can spare the hash I'm happy to kick in extra coins to account for the sacrifice.

Well you need a good chunk of SONG to give away and you need BTC to pay a programmer to setup a high quality faucet (not one of those typical annoying ones that show ads everywhere and never work).

Bounties are only worth something if they have value.  Right now a 500k bounty would be worth I dunno - $100 USD?

The dev team needs to put up a buy wall - a significant buy wall.  And they need to buy hash on a daily basis so transactions go through.

These are very simple things - obvious things - but everyone seems clueless. 

An "Out-of-Sync" block chain means that the difficulty has been too high for too long with too little hash.  And there are a ton of little transactions clogging it up.  I hope you all know someone at C-Cex -- otherwise this coin is on the road to be delisted.

Thanks HD unfortunately due to my personal budgetary situation I'm only able to invest around 1BTC per week into Songcoin on the exchange and also keep up with the technical requirements.  Anyway, I'm not sure artificial manipulation of the exchange market is a good thing.  This is a long term proposition and there will always be peaks and trough's. Songcoin is in the very early maturity phase.  There will always be some problems with a new coin and we need to be realistic.  Anyway I'm pleased that your so passionate about the health of Songcoin even if it comes across as a tad negative at times.  That's real too

Ok - I'll do it like this…  I just put 180Mh/s on mining SONG (using Hash-to-Coins pool) and I'll leave it like that for at least 72 hours.

The block chain will start moving again -- slowly - but at least it will start moving.  Ideally you want it at 1Gh/s+ with this difficulty, but I doubt fast transactions will matter at this early phase of development.

C-Cex currently reports the SONG chain to be "out-of-sync" at 10:38PM GMT (Tuesday).  Curious to see how long it takes to get back to healthy.

Yes - Songcoin wallet is back to "OK" on C-Cex.

It looks like about 400Mh/s does the trick.  Hopefully there will be support for me to continue hashing this coin.

Statistically - 400Mh/s at this difficulty will bring in 5482 coins a day.  That's maybe .03 BTC per day the way the market looks right now.  Not a smart strategy for a miner like me - lol.

So I'm not sure where I'll go from here - honestly.

If I get donations at SX3wRWSGFRKBhzHjERnuGK11zZmdEcEmwx (SONG address) -- then I'll keep it up -- otherwise I'm just throwing money at something -- something I don't know much about at all.

Had a very interesting day yesterday meeting with local VC's.  Quite a groundswell of interest from the venture community in niche coins and they were ready to listen but not sure how to proceed with the concept in the marketplace.  I have my own ideas but they require significant capital input.  This forms part of my long term strategy to treat the original pre-mine as equity in the future business as well as the ability to support early adopters.  Most business people agree with this idea rather than giving away the pre-mine to create interest in the coin.  One attendee suggested crowd-funding a music related project on a "Songcoin for Dollar" basis which is a great idea as it will strengthen the coin in the process.  Consider also, that in many crowd-funding offers all you receive is a good feeling, so perhaps this idea has strong merit.

Anyway some ideas here to ponder for the future.

Ok - so 400Mh/s seems to be the magic # as the block chain changed to "OK" status.

Not sure if people realize but Cryptopia.co.nz is trading SONG.  There's barely any activity, so if you can move some coin there - it would be helpful.  I'll do this myself in the morning (as it is 2am where I live).

Cryptopia is kind of cool as you can buy / sell items with different coins on their site as well.

I'm also in the process of creating a mining pool just for SONG - with extra rewards for miners.  Hopefully this will encourage more miners to hash at it.
