 idk about their software but i sent some coin just after i posted, and they seem to be arriving on target - 1 conf to go

Finally it looks like this transition might work :-)

Hash-to-Coins.com says that their pool is updated as well.

The big thing is how to get someone to mine this coin to block 80000.  The value is just so so low.  Right now there is only .2 BTC worth of buy orders and over 7 BTC of sell orders.

Funny - I always see a big manic buy-sell thing go on every few days in the blink of an eye on C-Cex.  It must be someone trading with themselves to keep the volume up, as there is never a demand to buy the coins. 

I've tested buying at 160 to 180 sats, but somehow the brief manic trading always happens 1 or 2 sats higher than what I offer and again it happens in the blink of an eye - lol.  I guess it is called coin survival. It keeps an artificial volume on C-Cex and doesn't cost much to do it (just trading fees).

Cryptopia dropped the coin due to the initial KGW transition fiasco recently.  That just leaves C-Cex.  I've tried to get Bittrex to list it, but they won't due to the large pre-mine.

Also, I wonder if we will hit another crazy (low difficulty) period before the switch to KGW ?? -- as I haven't been keeping track.

If you want the mining to move faster -- there needs to be incentive.  Unfortunately, right now mining SONG is worth 5% of using the same hash to mine LTC.

Yes I agree there's some pain here at the moment.

All I can say is that when we (I) eventually mine to the KGW changeover point then things will get a lot better.

Then I'm hoping to buy back in as well as accumulate coins back with the mining.  So far I've mined about 10,000 on the way to the re-target point.

As I mentioned before - I'm willing to sell you hash for SONG (directly from my miners).

I assume you are buying the hash from Nicehash / Westhash?  That is the cheapest route -- but the price fluctuates a lot (right now it is about .25 Gh/s but two days ago it was .35 Gh/s and a week ago it was .55 Gh/s).

If everything is ready for the KGW change-over then I would knock this out fast with 1 Gh/s or 2 Gh/s while prices are low -- and just to spare you the pain.

If you want - I can provide hash (minimum 500 Mh/s) up to the 80k mark for a certain number of SONG.

Are they from different people?  Or just one person?

So there needs to be a daily volume of .2 BTC for not just the next 2 weeks, but the previous 2 weeks as well.  So one would need to assume .4 BTC per day for the next 2 weeks just to be safe I guess. 

Is there a way to see the daily volumes for a coin on C-Cex?

Curious -- how smart is C-Cex in spotting fake buy and sells from the same person?  Do you think they at least track orders from the same IP address?

Just a matter of survival until we get to 80K.  I've already told you I'm selling the pre-mine that you've referred to on numerous occasions as a survival nemesis for the coin.  So instead of running everything down could you please find it within yourself to lend a hand instead of constantly undermining every effort?

I wouldn't like anyone to lose their coins because I've failed to notify them of the impending delist. 

Also, since when has it been the sole responsibility of the dev to ensure sufficient trading volumes on exchanges?  I'm selling the pre-mine and making volume this way.  If that's significant to keep C-CEX happy then good.  If not then move over to Cryptopia.  There's no difference I can see in fact Cryptopia has a greater array of coins to trade as well as other features unavailable on C-CEX.

It's interesting, I also buy Goldcoin from Cryptsy on occasion and noted the low volumes there do not make the coin subject to delisting.  I guess this is because C-CEX sees itself as an incubator of new coins so there's a high turnover of new and dead coins etc.

Unfortunately that doesn't explain all the untraded coins on C-CEX immune to the delist rule.  I can only see trading for about 40% of all the coins listed on the exchange.  Anyway I'm very grateful to C-CEX for giving us a shot, it's a pretty good exchange and their customer service is excellent.

Personally I can't wait until the 80k slog is over so we can move ahead with the other plans and leave all the technical problems behind us.

No - it is not the developers responsibility to do anything really.  LOL  This coin has no purpose at the moment and no plan.  Right now it is just fighting to exist.  In my opinion -- being delisted from C-Cex will make it much harder to survive as I doubt they will take you back in the future.

It depends what the pre-mine is intended for.  We've always been transparent about this, that it's mainly intended for associated coin development.  So selling it to finance this painful mining phase is a pretty good example.  It's not desperation stage though, I wouldn't care if we were out in the cold without an exchange for a while, there's new exchanges and alternate exchange mechanisms coming along to support the industry.

Also Cryptopia seem to be giving it a really good shot and they want us there.

HD, if you expended as much mental energy supporting the coin instead of highlighting every negative everyone involved would be better off.

Just my opinion though and I do appreciate your input however painful at times.
