"In a nutshell, the network works like a distributed timestamp server, stamping the first transaction to spend a coin. It takes advantage of the nature of information being easy to spread but hard to stifle." -- Satoshi

Quick update: Assembled boards will be ready this week, so within 1 to 3 weeks ASICs will be deployed.

I apologize if I can't answer everyone, I receive a huge quantity of messages and I can work or answer, not both. Anyway I will reply to every PM and email as soon as I will finish deploying ASICs in the next days.

I know things went very long and silence is "ugly", but it has been a very hard work.

Thanks for the update, and I think a lot of people don't understand how hard hardware development is, and takes so much time. That is a small percentage do your thing, I know my coins are always safe with you guys Wink

And the host where you have to insert the USB miner? And the UPS? And the emergency generator? And the air cooling? And the power to run it? And the redundant internet connection? And the space where all the stuff is placed? And all the work made to set up things?

First batch has this cost. Next batches will be cheaper. Everyone will get the MH rate that was "advertised" at the time they made their deposit, even if it's under the real cost. I took that risk. So why complain?

There is a change on how deposits work. I already updated the website description:

Since the hardware is not infinite, all deposits will get queued and they will be activated once it's their turn, on a first-arrived-first-served basis.

Actually the queue is 2.2Th/s. If you deposit now, your account will be activated when more than 2.2Th/s of mining hardware will be deployed.

If the queue goes down to 0, then the account becomes active immediately.

Of course I will try to keep the queue as small as possible.
Can existing users add funds to their deposits?

...
So: on every account containing at least a total of 10 BTC in ASIC deposits, up to 4000 BTC deposited from now until 31st December, I will deposit 50% of the total amount with my personal funds using that account as a sponsor. I have at least 2000 BTC available for this campaign (not counting those already allocated for those who took advantage of this promotion until now).
...

when will this extra accounts create?

I hope your ASICs go online by 21 July 2013. I can't wait....
Thanks for the update. I've been with your service since August 2012.

This surprised me a bit, I wasn't expecting pyramining to update on the state of things...And he seems to be quite solvent, judging by that offer he made about depositing 50% of up to 4000BTC deposits. It looks a bit pirateat40ish I think

I think he means that he will do the 50% sponsoring up to 4000BTC total deposits, as he also says he has 2000BTC for this campaign.

...

...
So not every deposit of say 4000 gets a 2000 sponsor, but deposits from 10, up to a total of deposits of 4000BTC, meaning he has to invest 2000BTC in total. This is not unrealistic.
