Lets think about this for a second.... it takes a time and energy to  come up with FUD about something. The main reasoning behind FUD is usually  to change someone's behavior.  However to come up with FUD is not a simple process and involves many steps. 

Firstly  one has to get a good nights sleep( 8 hours preferably ); next dedicate brain cells  throughout the waking day to come up with  creative FUD  ideas; eat 3 square meals a day so hunger pangs are satisfied ( you can't focus  on FUD generation  on an empty stomach ).

...but this is not all

You also have to find a  device to post the FUD so it reaches the masses, use a spell checker,  get an internet connection, kick the dog etc .
My point is if Cloakcoinscam is willing to commit this many  of his  resources to FUD'ng  Cloak, then CLOAKCOIN   must be  a dammed good coin.

...So HODDL that cloak, this is at least a  $50  coin in 2018.

If you've studied cryptography you'll know you're talking off you neck. Cryptography done well can be highly secure. Yes, you can have built in trapdoors but it all depends on the algorithm you're using, and your cryptosystem in whole.

CloakCoin is still one of the better looking projects. Offcourse the open Source code is taking quite a while and people searching for short term returns are dissapointed at this time.
But me, as a long term believer, I am not worried about it. Better come out with a good working code than rushing into coming out with a code full of flaws.
Price was indeed going lower, but as everything did and BTC grew more and more it was an easy prediction.
I won't do any predictions, but it will be earlier higher than lower from this point.

It all depends on what you mean by traceable. If you're talking about knowing who sent or received coins than there is no traceability using certain systems.

current blockheight: ---> 495130d =          0 0111 1000 1110 0001 1010b   

Turn on the leftmost bit, the sign bit in a two's complement representation of computer maths, and you have a negative blockheight.
Someone could code some countdown for until that will happen.

Only a blockheight of 1048575 will fit in the algo like we know it. Add one, and it's '-1'.
