I just noticed this message from march 26 2016: "HZxchange is relaunching these days, starting with some trusted assets and re-adding the coins that were listed before one by one."
It has been around for a few years I think; and you can buy equity or shares of the exchange on the horizon blockchain under asset id #: 17828408937649813496
anyhow thought i would give you guys a heads up:
About:
HZxCHANGE is a distributed cryptocurrency exchange on the Horizon Platform.
Unlike traditional exchanges, where trading takes place on servers connected to the wallets used for storage, HZxCHANGE uses the Horizon blockchain instead. As well as being much more secure, it's also totally transparent and trades can be verified by anybody.
All transactions are signed in your browser, the passphrase is never sent to a remote server. Your funds are stored on a multisig address, making it impossible for a single admin to run away with a wallet. The signatures are held by well-known and trusted members of the HZ (or the coin's) community. There's no public facing server a hacker could target, and even if he finds one that's not enough to get access to any coin. The asset balances are snapshotted regularly, so if someone breaches the issuers account we'll just switch to another asset.
HZxchange still is a proof of concept. A lot of manual work is needed to add and maintain coins. There are plans to automate all those processes and end up with a real decentralized exchange, but it will take a lot of effort to reach that. If you are a coder or an investor and want to help making it happen, contact pharesim at HZFoundation Slack

HZ holders - - call to actionI have created an open door ... with a chance for HZ to get included into the project
~ "Crypto OS" for RaspberryPi tiny computers... have a look: [...] I did send an invitation to HZ team to get integrated into the system [...]
A phasing transaction was created to pay for ROKOS integration.
Up to 4M HZ (1 BTC) will be sold when holders with a total of 200M approved.
If you want to approve, search for transaction ID 17360318482821505195 in block 605487, go to actions and click approve.
Phasing ends at block 615k
(line breaks, color, size added by me)... Thanks for setting that up! Make sure to vote if you are a holder! ... I have voted by following your directions, and hope other HZ holders will too! How was 200M chosen? It seems rather a lot. And is there a good way to track the progress of voting? Thanks! ~360M are on exchanges, 40M in the foundation, makes 600M which could vote. This is the first time we use this method, and as it's about 10% of the foundations' funds we didn't want to set the number too low. If it fails, and we didn't hear voices against the integration, we can try again with a lower value. But it's looking good so far, 94M approved already. You can check the status by logging in with the HZFoundation alias (at the login screen, remove the NHZ-**** preset with backspace and type it there). ... Approved. Sorry for the delay!
About 5000 blocks left, approval is at ~56%
Did anyone not approve for a reason, please tell us here. Until now there's only been positive feedback, so when it isn't approved we'll assume that the threshold may have been too high.
If you didn't approve by now, or know someone who didn't, please make up your mind if you think an integration into ROKOSOS would be a good thing, and if so approve it: Log in to your account, use the search box in the top left corner to find transaction 17360318482821505195 and approve in the actions tab.
If you have all your HZ on an exchange, please send them to a wallet, approve the transaction, and send them back. Yes, it takes a few minutes. But perhaps when you reflect about it ... you realize that it is worth it. Thanks. P.S.: I am not affiliated with ROKOS in any way, I just think that project is really useful.

I wanted to measure the new blocktimes of NXT, and wrote a script, which I have now run on HZ: Average block timesHZ Genesis was 741.9 days ago. Current block height 612782 at timestamp 64101964. blocks ago height timestamp seconds seconds per block ------------ -------- ----------- --------- ------------------- 0 612782 64101964 0 1 612781 64101954 10 10.0 3 612779 64101786 178 59.3 10 612772 64101074 890 89.0 31 612751 64098893 3071 99.1 100 612682 64091854 10110 101.1 316 612466 64066540 35424 112.1 1000 611782 63994599 107365 107.4 3162 609620 63767445 334519 105.8 10000 602782 63025220 1076744 107.7 31622 581160 60733006 3368958 106.5 100000 512782 53622846 10479118 104.8 200000 412782 43027958 21074006 105.4 300000 312782 32417643 31684321 105.6 400000 212782 22000727 42101237 105.3 500000 112782 11706873 52395091 104.8 600000 12782 1211779 62890185 104.8 0 0 64101964 104.6 Not much news for anyone, I admit that. Block time was and is ~ 1min45seconds. But important to know if you want to predict future blocktimes. Which I am in my little useful toy ChainCountDown, last used to generate the phasingTx reminder image here.

EDIT: and another one: 2016-04-04 14:06:29 WARNING: Received block 2109494211988400058 from the future, block timestamp is 64245189, current time is 64244647, system clock may be off 64245189 - 64244647 = 542 seconds = 9.03 minutes EDIT: What is the algorithm to find agreement on the network time? I suppose there is some majority rule in it? If yes, then there is a non-neglectable numbers of nodes running on the wrong system time - right? Just an idea: Is it possible that many new Azure (or Rokos) nodes have been started - and they are all way off in their system time?

Now it all seems cool again - last block height is 614143 at 2016-04-04 12:12:25 UTC; and the block explorer is back on track, too. What happened there? --> Received block 15916107914199152902 from the future ...
? EDIT: None of the three mentioned blocks are in the chain 15916107914199152902 2109494211988400058 1404984029841997228 EDIT: since then seen these ones too: 3909407368872076979 5384821555563648145 5050630628020782319 But none could be found with http://localhost:7776/test?requestTag=BLOCKSSo nothing has happened really. "Move along folks, nothing to see here" I was just alerted because the HZ NRS output is usually super quiet. So I thought if something is happening in there and even gets repeated dozens of times ... that it might be important. And then the chain was stuck for a long time locally, and also on the block explorer. But right now it looks as if really nothing has happened. Seemingly "someone from the future" was able to forge 3 6 blocks, but then they did not get into the chain, so ... the "Days of Future Past" have never really happened, and "only Logan will remember" ;-)

The transaction for ROKOS integration has been approved. I tested if the Foundation account itself can vote, and that's possible. Without that, 233M have given their vote. That's an amazing result! Nobody spoke out against, so it should be safe to use 250M as 100% for future decisions. This means that small amounts can be approved with >125M (50%) while bigger ones need >187.5M (75%).
3.1M HZ have been sold for 1 BTC, the remaining 900k will be sent back to the Foundation. We still need some graphics for the ROKOS team to start working, they should be available in a couple of days (James is in hospital right now). If you're a graphics guy, want to speed up that process and leave a mark in ROKOS, you can create a HD wallpaper for us to give them.

A Serious Question:As you may know, Lisk has gone bananas thanks to Yobit opening up an artificial market for trading Lisk IOUs that are backed by Yobit's own ICO purchase. In form, it's like an Asset and of course it requires trusting Yobit. I bought a small amount of Lisk myself in the ICO. Since I was put up to issuing an IOTA Asset pre-release, an "IOU of an IOU" as someone called it, I want to ask the Horizon community: Do you want me to do the same for Lisk? Would there be any demand for an HZLisk Asset backed by one of my ICO accounts? Please bear in mind, anyone who would buy it would have to wait along with me for Lisk's release. I can't redeem an HZLisk Asset until the mainnet release date. So, any buyer of it would not only have to trust me but also would have to be patient. Given this temporary freezing, my issue price would be well below Yobit's price to compensate for the wait. That discount would be in addition to a sizable discount because I think the Yobit price is too high to be sustainable. At least two Nxters have issued Assets on the Nxt system that are like the above proposal. They have huge discounts wrt Yobit's crazy-high price, and I would too. As with the IOTA one, this Asset would be for distribution purposes; there'd be a simple sell-wall and then the wait. What do you think? Any interest? If not, I'll keep twiddling my thumbs and holding on.

Yes. Won't buy myself but I like the AE to be used for cool stuff. Good luck with it! When you promote it in the Lisk threads, I suggest you include a manual for HZ newbies (see my concise, verbose manuals). There will actually be time before official trading begins. See this.

As you know Nxtblg, i am always open for new assets on Horizon, but this one i will pass. I bought also some at regular ICO and the price is to high at moment. (i dont know your price but at yobit and the other shitexchange (forgot the name, never heard before) is astronomically.
But thanks for your effort.
