While 1070s aren't giving anywhere near the bang for your buck as 480s, it looks like the dual Ethereum/Pascal miner is taking pressure off of all the other algos and things are becoming more profitable again for Nvidia. Definitely still not a optimal situation and it would be nice if we could get our own dual miner. Claymore is keeping things locked to AMD right now because it would be much more profitable for Nvidia. Claymore doesn't unlock things until it's no longer advantageous to even mine with Nvidia. I try with maximum performance on nvidia panel but have the same issue .
Maybe it's throttling because it's too hot? Faulty fan maybe? That reminds me of, does anyone know where I could buy some fans for Gigabyte cards (970 G1, 750 Ti, 1070) other than ebay? Gigabyte told me they don't bother selling parts and that replacing fans would void the warranty... pssh.please. I could RMA them but the process takes about 2 months so no thanks to that. They don't even have to be Gigabyte (instead preferably something with ball bearing), just match the specs, size and the connections. Posted about this a couple times over the last six months or so when talking about different video card models. Ebay is the only place or wait three weeks on a RMA. It's silly they don't sell them out of a store or are willing to send them to you. Gigabyte fans are terrible and fail within 6-12 months of mining use or 18 of normalish use. All of them use the same shitty half height low quality fans. Great cards, terrible fans. I try with maximum performance on nvidia panel but have the same issue .

Gtx 1070 profit with the spreadcoin sp-mod #10 badass miner  (0.05 BTC)  Spreadminer #10 is around 6% faster on the 750ti than spreadminer #9. 10% faster on the 970 20% faster on the 1070 and 1060 3gb. |

Nvidia gtx 1080ti out on 10 march , 699$ , 3584 CUDA Cores, 224 Texture Units, 352-bit memory controller and 11 GB of GDDR5X memory , TDP 250 watt . Its a performance same 2x gtx 1070 ? . GDDR5 (X) That X is a big deal. That in and of itself means it wont compete with 1070s. Only being able to irk out the performance of it on two algos and then being consistently slower then a 1070 is a big deal. That's why 1080s were never a good buy. The spreadminer maxwell mod was made in 2015. Version 10 is a complete rewrite for the pascal chipset. You need to donate another 0.05BTC to get it. |

You can add around 100khash from version 9. But as I wrote in the previous post, this kernel works best on the new cards. +140 Mhz coreclock stable oc 100%tdp limit spreadminer 10: GPU #0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 1868 khash/s spreadminer 9: GPU #0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti, 1764 khash/s |

I can understand why, given that your gain is in the selling process of the kernel, but please be more specific. If you say that this coin can go at such BS values, it will tank to 1.2$ in a second, due the hashrate fluctuations. Right now 1.5$, 30% less than others on a daily basis. About profitability, this SP10 has the same USD/Day gain, for a gtx 1070, of a RX480 with ETH+DCR, that costs almost the half.  Other than that with an average GTX 1070, 9MH/s will lead to a crash. An optimum value with your latest release it's 8.2, if not a bit less. You need to report average values, not single ones about profitability, and average-realistic ones about frequencies (In case of Spreadx11 we're talking about 1800MHz on avg) |

Other than that with an average GTX 1070, 9MH/s will lead to a crash. An optimum value with your latest release it's 8.2, if not a bit less.
I run my Gigabyte 1070 G1 @ 9mhash without any problems. At stock clock they deliver 8.6. Every card is different, and it's impossible to write the speed you will have for your card and settings. that's why I've kindly asked you to verify your calculations, because they are, too much often, wrong;
I use a public website calculator.¨ I also did 24 hours of testmining and i got $2.4 on a gtx 1070. Profits fluctate, and I can't calculate your profit in the future. here is the spreadcoin difficulty chart since feb 23 (1 week) sp-mod #10 was first released on feb 26.  |

a 480 is netting less even if the earning with free electricity is the same, because you need to factor the more wattage it need with dual mining...
