So many words without purpose..
chrysophylax has moved to the other thread. I did a vector instruction rewrite of the boolberry kernel. Nice speedup. I am modding ccminer to load cubin kernels directly. Then I can opensource ccminer, and sell bin files. The binfiles will work on linux too. No need for exe files..
that is an idea.. better than doing fake commits which doesnt work

SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN-- Miners want a better miner. If you can package your personal code in a way to keep it distinct from others work, it may quiet the complaints. The constant sour grapes and nasty grumbling is a pain. --scryptr

Then you can finally stop violating the license! Only if the bins are written from scratch, otherwise they include GPL code.

now THAT is the FIRST thing you have written that makes sense ... AND is not an attack on those that support you ( basically the community ) by calling then disgusting names ... as long as the bins are not gpl 'infected' ( as wolf would put it ) - then you are doing the right thing ... for once ... btw - i dont 'move to another thread' ... you KNOW better than anyone else how involved i have been and still am in the mining industry - especially when YOU first started out and was asking for help ALL the time ... you KNOW how involved i have been with YOU and all the needs YOU had ... no longer now - admittedly - but that is YOUR doing due to your innate greed for btc and growth of your own farm ... so no 'moving' to any thread - as i ALWAYS watch this thread and others ... so you will stop breaking the gpl license? ... believe me we would all like to see this ... and with what you mentioned - sounds like a plan too ... #crysx

Then you can finally stop violating the license! Only if the bins are written from scratch, otherwise they include GPL code. And the cycle continues... I guess it just makes it easier to believe he (and other developers) rewrote a kernel from scratch then the entire miner. Whatever floats everyones boat. XD

What does the opensource miner do?
ccminer 2.0 opensource does 850khash on the gtx 1060 3gb. sp-mod #1 is 60% faster..

Wow so what was the point of commissioning Epsylon to fix the stratum and then continually talk about it in this thread for the last six months? I already mentioned that the code was broken for Pascal and I'm sure that wasn't that hard of a fix. I also mentioned that it would be pretty profitable multiple times. Original miner got 1400 on a 970, 2500 on a 1070 is about right with almost no changes to the code and updating it to Pascal. And no, a 1060 isn't representative of original speeds. 1060 is also Pascal and was also operating at half speed.

But ccminer 2.0 only does 1500 and not 2500 on the gtx 1070. The scratchpad is 230MB now. In the early days (2014), the scratchpad was smaller, and you got more cachehits in the random access and more speed. The gtx 970 is doing around 1000. ccminer v2.0 RC2 opensource - Boolberry Palit GTX 1070 Core Clock +0 - 1500 kh/s Core Clock +60 - 1800 kh/s (stable work)

Same thing for Epsylons 2.0. The 1060 and 1070 were so bad because the original miner was never upgraded for Pascal. Wolf0s miner is pre-Pascal. Maxwell still worked perfectly fine. You basically aren't showing a speed increase, but rather a bug fix that I've been asking for for months, including in PMs to you. That isn't on 2.0, it's on the version I got from Epsylon last September.

Gpu #3 is running @ 1025, is it a bug or is this gpu clocked lower than the others? (Asus gpu #0 seems to be doing fine) Boolberry need a good coreclock/memclock ratio. from 1000 to 1400 is a 40% increase. Adjusting mem/core clock, and finding the optimal launchconfig is the key here. Modding the code is not enough...
