someone can pull off a miner for this? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1796036.0 it has a decent daily emission, 30k satoshi for 7200 coin a day, that is more than 2 btc daily, only amd are mining it right now

it's a modified equihash that need 8gb of ram to work, if a miner can see the light for nvidia, would be better
Hell, Amphi. Will you ever come to your senses?Which benefit have you what heralding for the Nexus?! You no, but someone who has a big farm nVIDIA 1070 now collects profit. He will give you at least 25% of earnings Huh?But will not because he is ordinary asshole. Maybe he will recognize me and attack in messages Cheesy. He did not say neither "thank you Amph,my friend".
Strong miners will only kill the coin.More miners will not increase the price, but it will make little or no profit to other miners. This is because the coin was still in development and not have strong support and you're now raped coin with big farms nVIDIA 1070.  A few days ago hashrate was only twice as high, and mining was unprofitable. Dev does not occur from February. Sometimes it is better to shut up. If you have the money then buy AMD RX480, miners and shut up.

What? I can't tell if you're saying Nvidia miners are 'big miners' or AMD miners are? There isn't a public miner for Nvidia for this... Why would him talking about it here in a Nvidia mining thread cause a hashrate increase on a coin that only has a AMD miner?

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

It would be nice if someone can test the latest binary on the 1080ti and report the speed.

i admit nexus was a bad mode, now it's unprofitable, but i can't make a miner for zero i don't have the programming skill, so what i can do here if asking for someone else to do it? better to have the option to mine it than not mining it

if you now someone which is a small miner and make private software, that won't kill the coin i'm all for it, and no i can't buy amd just because nvidia can't mine that coin, that's stupid...

right now amd is raping this coin, i see the explorer say that there is only 4000 H/S, this mean that very few rig are mining, which mean huge profit

Just as a FYI, the fans on my 1070 Strix's have started dying within the same time period of when they were received. Approximately 9~ months and seeing fan failures on multiple units. They are running at 'auto' fan settings.

Currently it's about 1 (of the 3 on the cards) out of 10 cards. Based on current progression it's a pretty good chance this will cause failures on roughly 50% of my cards. I probably wont be sending them in till they're inoperable. The temperatures are still pretty decent even with two out of the three fans running.

The white Asus 1070s I haven't seen any failures on. I believe they use slightly bigger fans. We will see. (Funny as they're the 'cheaper' cards)

This sadly is completely the opposite of my 970 Strix's which I've only had a couple failures on. Those cards also use much bigger fans (instead of like 60mms they're like 90mms).

Interesting.. The https://hitbtc.com exchange claims to be located in Europe, but there isn't any contact information available.  Apparently they have fiat exchange as well, and the most popular coins are anon coins. (dash, zcash). a quick google search is showing Panama + Hong Kong.
Fiat withdrawal make from -5 to -12 % from sum of moneys!

And to trade fiat you need to verify your account. Passport scan? Hehe, sure.

Dash has been trading with big volume there even before this incident. I'll let reader decide if that is a good or a bad sign.
Only DASH? What are you trying to say?
And what incident?

Only two exchanges have dash as a major trading pair, HitBTC and Yobit, that is a fact and all I am going to say about it.

HitBTC halted btc withdrawals without advance notice. Everyone who has been through MtGox, Bter, Mintpal, Poloniex, Cryptsy, Bitfinex knows that is not a good sign. Imagine the size of a shitstorm if Poloniex did something like that.

From HitBTC forum, sorry guys I feel your pain, I hope you get things sorted out.

Yes, historically speaking when they halt withdrawls it's a good sign they're trying to make up for a deficit in coins and stop the bleeding. That just leads to people trying to exit the exchange through altcoins and their market spirals downward. I didn't do that back when it happened to Cryptsy and lost a decent amount of money at the time instead of extracting.

Coins don't always go up. I thought they did at one time.

I was lucky I only had dgb in Cryptsy at that time, it took months but I got them back.

Cryptsy survived as long as btc went up. There is one big exchange that 'lost' 120,000 btc last summer and somehow they are still in business, now what happens if btc dives?

Sorry again for OT but at least this OT is something everyone dealing with cryptos should be aware.

Hmmm not sure, I haven't seen a calculator that takes into account the size of the DAG when performing profit calculations. Smaller dags increase profits, but no one has went out of their way to make any meaningful chart for it.

Just as a FYI, if you're getting into AMD mining it seems as though Sapphire has the best boards and heatsinks out of the cards I've tested so far. Their fans keep things the coolest, seem to be high quality, and the heatsink itself is a quad pipe instead of just dual. Cooling capacity is almost directly related to the amount of heatpipes and to a lesser extent the size of said heatpipes.

I dont think 1050 is good for mining . The best is 1060 or 1070 .

now with the price cut, the 1080 is the best one, 5x1080 are like 6x1070(price and hash), but they are a bit better for density

5x1080 are faster than 6x1070, in fact 4x1080 are faster than 5x1070 ;-)

i get on zcash around the same, 2500 for 6 1070 and 2500 for 5 1080, isn't one 1080 500 on zcash?

spreadcoin also 11,3xx x 5 versus 9,3xx x 6, 56.5 vs 56, yes just 500kh/s faster here, not a real margin

true, there is a little slowdown on algos which use more ram.
but all the others (x*, decred, veltor, lyra*, lbry...) it is 33% faster (as the number of cuda cores).

EDIT: spreadcoin is probably not well tuned for all the cards, it should behave just like x*
