If you select the gtx 1070 you get $2.56 a day with the nicehash calculator.

https://www.nicehash.com/?p=calc

Anything above this is good.

To get $4 per day you need to mine other coins... Coins not minable @ nicehash or less known coins.

Or mine with private kernels.

?

whattomine is showing $3.25 for a 1070 on Zcash.

Look on BTX (Bitcore) - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.0
It have only cpu and cuda miner at this time. Profit for now is huge...

was huge, diff is 1000x compared to yesterday.
and volume is very low (on cryptopia most of the trades are fake).
nothing to see, move on folks.

Yup.

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Does anyone know how to have a QT wallet reconnect after your IP changes? It seems like if your IP changes you have to restart a wallet in order for it to reconnect to the network. Is there a way around this?

OK, I TOOK THE BAIT--

From what I read, the coin is only Proof-of-Stake (PoS) and not mineable.  It has had a huge recent price spike, but on C-CEX, the only exchange that I could find for BTX, the volume is $5 for the last 24 hours.

If you have a BTX wallet quietly earning PoS income, it may have gained $70 a day in theoretical value, but you would have to exhange the coins first.       --scryptr

I FOUND THE NEW BITCORE--

However, as Epsylon3 mentioned in the official thread, the "BTX" trading symbol is already taken by the old "BitCore TX" coin, which is as I described above (PoS only).  He suggests that the BitCore Dev team use the symbol "BCX".  The new BitCore Dev team stars LimxDev from the BitSend (BSD) project.  There will be confusion until the pool/trading/algorithm details are more clear.

Apparently, mining the coin requires a proper difficulty setting.  LimxDev says the coin is still on testnet.       --scryptr

That coin will probably be dead within a few weeks. There isn't anything to it and it got a major pump out of the door which is quickly declining.

Weird how there doesn't seem to be any way to solo mine it. I tried to do it with the QT and it gives empty responses. You're supposed to use some combination of the QT and other .exe's, but I can't figure it out. There is only one other post in the thread discussing solo mining and his craps out after a few hours (pretty sure he was CPU mining as well).

No one has any idea of how to make a QT wallet reconnect to the network after your IP changes without restarting the wallet?

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

you can't solo mine any coins that is based on the last version of bitcoin core, because ccminer don't have getwork implemented

apparently more and more coins are using this and in the future solo will be dead if this will not be addressed

and bitcoin core don't even support rotation such as 192.168.1.*, i don't know if remotely you can go with 192.168.1.0/24...i need it for my vware scamcoin machine

don't worry about that wildcard, you can do the same and more with subnet masks (for example 0/24 is equivalent to .*).

Figure out what a netmask is.

I'm not sure about that, I've seen coins that support getwork, seems as though this one chose to remove it or move it. Pretty sure the other .exe's play part in solo mining, I'm not sure exactly how they're implemented though as there is no documentation.

I had to setup a pool myself to mine machinecoin and bitcore. Once you do it the first time, it's quick to adapt to other coins.
