In reference to Gox's servers being powered by hamsters.

It has been theorized that MtGox's servers are powered by hamsters running in a hamster wheel.  This explains the lag and poor performance if their service.

This is the key... selling during a crash, especially below the buy price is the worst one can do.. that's where the loss happens...

Crashes happens because people panic sell... if no one sells then there is no crash.

When gox lags, it because a hamster tripped. when it crashes, a fat one tripped and took out all the others.

It looks like we're in a wedge, looking only in the very short term. Following this trend we should be due for a breakout Monday.

No way, we're a few hours at most from breaking out of this 5 day pattern imho. The question mark is what happens at ~$150

Well, we just hit the 24 hour high.

Virtex is at $151  Shocked

Virtex is always 10$ overpriced...  Except when market is uncertain, then it's 10$ bellow...  That's the bad side of having no volume...

The problem is also the lack of bots (no trade API), humans have to manually enter orders and often can't do so in time.

Whelp, just cashed out a not insignificant percentage of my btc holdings for ltc, and bought some CFDs. It's gonna be fun to see if it pays off, and if it does, if it's more profitable than if I'd just stayed in btc.

That looks like a mighty large triangle forming... just in time for the weekend? Huh Huh Huh
