At $144.85.  Once we cross $145, which should be any minute now, I think $150 will fall quite soon after.  I'm not looking at the walls, but rather just the pattern of the past few weeks.

Its saturday at midnight (PST), we aren't breaking $150.

I'm continuing to stand by my short term prediction.  I am generally in the camp that says chart reading and T/A is bullshit.  Even when chart patterns allow you to be right 90% of the time, its that other 10% where you are going to get burned so bad its going to wipe out the successes.  This same chart pattern, low volatility and very slight rise, followed by a sharp and accelerating break upward, followed by extreme price swings, before ultimately settling down a higher price and repeating the pattern again, I think this has been happening since we broke through $31.91.

I recognize the pattern, I just can't wrap my head around the timing.

Apologies for lack of decent wall pic.  I don't subscribe to BTCcharts and  haven't been able to get on to mtgoxlive.com for probably a month now!

I recognize the pattern, I just can't wrap my head around the timing.

Exactly. Where is the fiat coming from on a Sunday?
If the fiat can't move then it must be the BTC moving...
Could it be that the bitcoin asks are being raised, in anticipation of a big move up next week?

That doesn't really matter that much since people take their time.
In fact most people procrastinate before taking any action.

People were hoping to see the price dropping in the w/e to buy cheap before the monday crash, now they realize that they had all the same plan?

Yes. That's it. They couldn't wait for the fantasy dip to 110 any longer, and went in before the rush next week.

Get you're bitcoins Sunday before Europe & Asia wake up on Monday, America. Otherwise we'll have another Goxxian failure. I think this Monday will be very big considering all the press we had late last week. A weekend can do amazing things.

Interesting.

On the one hand I'm tempted to keep holding. At my current holdings I'd stand to gain a couple hundred dollars if we shot up more than $10.

On the other hand, there's something I need to buy that I have the money for now (and then some). However, the cost of this item would almost totally wipe out my holdings at the current valuation, leaving me with peharps 1, 1.5 BTC. And I could definitely use the extra few hundred.

Then there's the "Money Flow" thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=167112.40 which is both extremely interesting, and disturbing. The OP in that thread is predicting a massive coming correction.

What to do?

I can't see no imminent correction based on money-flow ...
