I know they are shady as fuck, but I can't see any difference to other exchanges either.  When it comes to incompetence gox is on par, they are just bigger.

I don't think GOX are incompetent, just overloaded like crazy.

How would you handle it if you got 15k more customers overnight? You don't have time to upgrade, you don't have time to train staff.

they HAVE had time, that is my complaint.

They had time to setup for the 10k extra customers they expected but 25k turned up. This thing exploded faster than GOX could have predicted.

I'm no GOX fan. I'd like to see a legitimate(!) bank or forex trading site start a BitCoin exchange. At least you know those people have some experience with financial systems.

The legitimate banks and forex would have to be idiots not to be looking into Bitcoin right now.

I am sure they are.

So, after a highly obnoxious and unnecessary delay it looks like we are back to where we were this morning.  About 12k BTC until 200.

10K BTC to $200, we're hitting that tonight for sure (probably while I'm asleep, grrrrr...)

Just to remind you guys what happened last time:

Notice that huge spike in asks in the middle? Yes the crash gonna come out of nowhere... There's somebody with several dozen million $ worth of BTC out there and he's gonna want some of that.

Tough call, unless someone starts spamming this thread (and I mean really spamming, not just off topic like we get sometimes) my money is on $200 in about 9 hours as opposed to page 100 in 14 hours
