This is an attack on Gox to crash the market. There is also a lot of order stuffing going on to make the pending last forever... This is a crime in progress. luckily they have capital punishment in Japan for when the hackers get extradited.   |

Not that true now, Virtex has been in advance on MtGox on price move for few weeks now.. I dont think MtGox will "dictate" the market price for long.. Following both, Virtex moves before MtGox for almost a month, and has always been followed by Gox.. Maybe we will soon see a BTC price expressed by an average of a number of exchange instead of MtGox price only ! I hope so ! |

Following both, Virtex moves before MtGox for almost a month, and has always been followed by Gox.. Maybe we will soon see a BTC price expressed by an average of a number of exchange instead of MtGox price only ! I hope so ! Gox has also been lagging BTC China quite a bit in the last few days. |

I think somebody is already doing that. MtGox just has the name recognition for now. The number really isn't all that important anyway. |

If they can find them... Hackers are stealthy I moved all my funds out of Gox (Japan) into BTC-E (Russia)... I worry how safe my funds are |
