If anything, the bears just proved that the demand for $100 is real.  Thanks.

But seriously, try to be less dumb.  Who ever decided to sell at 99 just lost out on at least $1000, prob more.

you're forgetting the possibility of people being involved in options, futures, bets and the like. So maybe it can make sense to try to keep the market down by executing seemingly unprofitable trades. Not saying this is the case, but it's possible.

Well, that seems doubly worse to me.  First, they betted against the trend of BTC rising in value and THEN lost tons of money trying to bet against it a second time.

4.4k wall at $102... very nice! We might just hit $150 in a couple weeks... but then my bubble radar will be going wild!

Even if it's a bubble, it won't pop right after we broke major resistance.

Double digits broken first time: went to $31
Double digits broken second time: went to $15 (crashed due to pirate)

Just stumbled upon this old thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=98419.0

OP called a bubble popping at $120 last August.

It will take the same amount of BTC to get to $80 and $50,000. Things are starting to get exciting.

waiting list at gox is over 8.5k

That's a whole lot of people crying because they're stuck watching the price go up while they can't buy.

So should I wait for Dwolla -> Gox or just go down and use Bit Instant? Which will cost me more in the next 5 days if I am going to put another $1000 in? The Bit Instant fees, or missing out on a $20 price jump tomorrow? lol

I think it's probably 50/50.  Flip a coin maybe?

Why not simply $500 to each?

I'm wondering what the average amount of money is those standing in line at MtGox are going to invest in Bitcoin. $1000 perhaps? That could bring the price to $200.
