Quick question for Scott and Coinfire as it may add to the ammo.
Is it legal for GAW to give free life hashlets as gifts as a way to bring in new customers then to take them away? This seems shady and manipulative. Surely not legal?
If someone has a copy of the TOS from when you signed up that'd be something to look at. It might be covered that they provide no warranties to service etc and that could theoretically protect them. No TOS can protect a vendor from fraud charges!

I have been thinking about this for a while now and the nonsense going on industry wide has reached a point that screams for something to be done ASAP. I believe it may be time to throw my own resources in to the ring and unlike some of these children trying to use their short-sighted cult-like greed to manipulate the crypto arena, I and others of similar mindset/value system will simply facilitate an industry consortium made up of VETTED and trustworthy entities who believe there is a place for ethical business professionals and mining hobbyists alike and have no issues with transparency and complying with all established + emerging regulatory affairs. It's not hard and in the long run will benefit everyone. @TheMage You wanna truly change an industry with others and myself? If so, let's talk. Scott- Sounds good to me, sending you a PM .

Everyone is so upset, Josh kept his promise in classic Garbozo fashion. He was at the conference. At some point he spoke and also most likely answered a question. So what is the problem? Any of you were expecting him to be a real grownup professional CEO. Come on really?
QFT But look what's here - Paybase has a huge number of retailers! And AMAZON!!! Well, not really. By the way the exchange rate for those gift cards is about 5% lower than their own market, ~3.65 vs ~3.85 at the moment. Not sure what's up with that, looks like double dipping on gift card commissions plus their own markup. I haven't tried to purchase yet. Edit: so that's what Mr.Garza wanted to be released for the Miami Q&A apparently. Edit2: gift cards sold by Gyft in case it's not clear from the screenshot. http://www.gyft.com/ offers 3% kickback on BTC purchases, not sure about the exchange rate though. Edited 2020-11-28 to fix a broken image

But the $10,000 question is "is the interface to Gyft native XPY, or are they converting to BTC and making the pass-through purchase from Gyft?" If that is true, this is nothing special that makes XPY something better than BTC. The feature has little value if you have to move through another currency (crypto or fiat) in order to spend it. <sigh>

I was talking about bitpay and gyft and the pressure it creates. "I love Gyft" Makes sense now.
