Can someone give a quick run down of what happened at the conference?  I was gone for a few days and there are ~50 new pages of text on this thread...

Mr.Garza showed up on the first day (Saturday) and walked around with two bodyguards. The planned Q&A didn't happen because he wanted a new feature to be released to Paybase and he claims testing wasn't completed in time.

The new feature (Payflash - buy gift cards with Paycoin) was released late Saturday and caused Paycoin to crash to $0.01. After a couple of attempts to restart it was abandoned, but the next day (Sunday) Mr.Garza missed his scheduled appearance at the conference claiming he had to work on solving the issue.

In other words - no speech, no Q&A, or other public appearance. All that seems to have happened was GAW giving out some outdated merchandise (with hashlet logos etc).

QFT. I also haven't seen any remorse from rootdude, redacted, sburn, and probably a dozen of other heavy shills now suddenly singing another song... except some of them deleting their old posts.

It's one thing to be duped into this mess by snazzy advertising and blinded by flashy cars as some of those HT kids seem to be, it's quite another thing to be aware of all the red flags and still continue to actively promote the business, attack critics and doubters, pretend to have done their "due dilligence", etc. Up to the minute they dumped their XPY and became the leaders of the free world.

Yes, it will take a while for me and Mr. Beam to reconcile this, not that we're in a hurry mind you.

Besides the fact all COINS - everyone of them, is valued against BTC.   Pretty soon xpy wont so there will be no need to hear from josh and co at a btc conference.  Hope this weekend was a good preview for you all going forward.

It simple math, not much to do with software development or other human resource issues. XPY needs to be dumped, whether its to pay Gyft for the gift cards, or to pay the bank when/if the debit card comes along. Dumping XPY will make the price go down if there is no buy support.

Now consider the fact that the supporters think that "spending" XPY is good whereas "dumping" is bad, so they wouldn't normally dump directly but would happily dump through gift/debit cards, and it's a recipe for disaster.

Some workarounds are possible, for example spread the dumping around multiple exchanges, but that would not solve the issue completely.

Actually I have been reading their new home-away-from-home forum and it seems alot of them HAVE woken up. They are using GAW and HT as more of a profit vehicle than a chariot to Heaven now. Some of them even are even beginning to start making sense =)
