Coinstand moves from Beta to Delta and keeps XPY pegged at 20! (20% above market that is) https://hashtalk.org/topic/35500tl;dr: it's a pre-announcement ("preparing to move into the next phase"), and still only a limited number of participants will be invited over the "next few weeks". CoinStand Beta Evolves toward Delta Phase!
It’s been a few weeks since the launch of CoinStand beta and there’s been a lot of learning related to site functionality.
The intention in launching CoinStand was to provide a place where users of cryptocurrencies can spend their coins in the world’s only marketplace that directly accepts crypto. And only crypto. By all accounts, it’s working. CoinStand is excited to be a part of an industry changing project.
The beta test drive was by invite only and the first test drivers were provided with a $20 PayCoin value as a means to reward users for their diligent, honest and thorough insights; participation had requirements and spending limits.
The beta was about functional testing and user experience. But the learning continues. There are still bugs and some technical issues that are or will be worked out, with the goal of providing users with an easy, fast and the most secure online experience. As an example, the backend software that manages order logistics is undergoing updates. Some beta users are waiting for an order update the ability to track their orders, and some will need to replace their orders, a follow up email outlining the completion of orders will be going out to each beta customer.
Since the updates are close to being pushed, CoinStand is preparing to move into the next phase of development, which is being called Delta Phase. Delta Phase will focus on scale, the difference in becoming larger, having the ability to effect change in size as CoinStand evolves and grows in its product set, overall functionality and ability to accept different altcoins, beyond Bitcoins and PayCoins. The Delta Program was born from the help of respondents to the Hashtalk post seeking input on the preferred method of rolling out the next phase.
As with the beta test drive, we will limit delta deployment accounts, but CoinStand will have the capacity (we hope) to handle significantly more delta users. Delta accounts will not have purchasing limits and will eventually support more coin types. Additionally, the delta phase of the beta will give you a 20% bonus on all purchases over the market price for PayCoin at the time of the purchase. For example, if the price of XPY at the time of purchase is $1 then each PayCoin used for purchases will be valued at $1.20! Next time, if the value of XPY is $10, then each PayCoin used will be valued at $12! Get the bonus on every single pay coin used. This is just a way of saying thanks for the help.
If you have request an invite before this annoucment, you will receive and invite to the Delta Program! These invites will be sent in batches and in the order in which they were received. The goal is to fulfill all invite requests that have made up until now in the next few weeks. And, in the near future, delta users will have the ability to invite others…where scale and function get tested.
CoinStand is excited about evolving its position in the support and efficacy of crypto. Its utility. Its value. Get ready.

So he makes a post saying you can buy from amazon at 80% of and has now changed it to 20% off. Suppose he only has to honour 75% of orders and he's in profit?

Wow, a whole 20%! That means people can spend their XPY for $0.75, a whopping 3.8% of what they were promised! All hail gawd!

Does the writing style here remind anyone else of Paybase blog updates? I recognize a few catch phrases "by all accounts" that I think have been in their other posts. They have also liked to use fragments like "Its utility. Its value". Since I believe John Caceres, their "Chief Marketing Officer" or whatever the fuck he's called wrote those, my guess is that he penned this Coinstand update also. Thoughts?

Oh well at least Gamza just got F'ed up the A. On Wednesday, the Securities and Exchange Commission penalized the technology and engineering firm KBR for forcing employees to sign “restrictive” confidentiality agreements, the regulator’s first such action against a company suspected of stifling potential whistle-blowers.
The S.E.C. has escalated enforcement of its whistle-blower protections as part of an effort by the agency to turn a historical sore spot into an advantage. After missing warning signs about Bernard L. Madoff’s Ponzi scheme, the S.E.C. created a whistle-blower program and vowed to punish companies that muzzle potential tipsters. As of now Homero's NDAs are null and void. Come forth Whistle-blowers. You are free birds!
