I think the lack of audio is the single biggest weakness across your site. Then again, I'm a musician, so maybe I'm more tuned into that than many other people. Check out my recent comments in the Bitcoin Video Poker thread for some thoughts on VP sounds.

I also play a lot of blackjack at your site, but again, I would be playing at bc-casino.com due to the audio. What keeps me with you is the "dealer doesn't peek for blackjack" rule that BC-Casino implements. I hate that rule.

Thanks for the feedback! It's clear that sounds are in high demand, so we'll make sure to prioritize it.

And, I'm glad you like our blackjack rules Smiley

Hi, love your site - specifically your craps which is the only game I play there. I especially like the simple, clean, fast, no bullshit UI. The bet placing system you have for craps (not sure if its the same for other games) really allows the player to efficiently and quickly make their bets - which gives the craps game a nice overall flow and feel. Really handy to be able to quickly and easily make different sized bets for the different wagers as well as pressing up your bets without having to move your mouse cursor back and forth across the screen every time you need to change increments for a specific wager.

Thanks for the kind words! We spent a lot of time creating the slick UI, so it's always great to hear directly from our users that you're enjoying it Smiley

Regarding the first bolded, would you be taking about something similar to a casino rewards program or rakeback? Because something like that would be awesome and would definitely increase my play at your site.  Smiley

Yup! We have a rewards program in the works which I'm really excited about. We've got a lot of long-time loyal players, and we want to make sure to reward you all for playing with us.

As far as sounds go, I like the no sounds aspect since oftentimes I'm doing something else on my computer while degenning it up on your craps game. So if you do add sounds, I would kindly request making them optional. And I'm also a big fan of the fact that you don't have some silly distracting animation of dice bouncing around the table every roll.

We will definitely have a very prominent option to turn sounds off (ie, it will be on the table itself, not buried on the options page). We may even make sounds off by default, and just let users who want to turn them on - not sure on that yet.

Haha, everytime I bet a 700+ it would either tie or get a 21.

My hands

Q-Q to 21

A-5-4  to 21

J-K - Tie

2-2-5-10 - Tie

Then about 3 or 4 19's I got beat on, and 5+ hands of 13,14,15. Fastest $40.00 I've ever spent in my life.

If this was a regular casino you might start to suspect they were cheating you.

That's what's so cool about the provable fairness at bitZino - you can check each hand out and be sure that you just got unlucky.

We just released an article outlining some of our numbers from 2012, which I'm sure people on this forum will find interesting Smiley

Overall, I think it paints a very promising picture for bitcoin in general.

In 2012, our players made 3.2 million wagers for real bitcoins on bitZino, an average of 1 wager every 5.5 seconds.

Wow, that's pretty amazing for 7 months of being open. I didn't realize you guys got so much action.

Wow, really nice! You can clearly see how the hands played increased after roulette was introduced to the site but it's becoming a bit less popular and blackjack seems to be the most popular game now..

Sure thing! I'm glad to share

Wow, that's pretty amazing for 7 months of being open. I didn't realize you guys got so much action.

Yeah, I think gambling is the next great growth sector for bitcoin. I really do hope our prediction of "at least one 'traditional' online casino is going to wake up to the obvious benefits of bitcoin, and start accepting bitcoin in 2013" comes true. This would be huge for bitcoin as it would introduce a very large new section of the population to the amazing properties of bitcoin.

Wow, really nice! You can clearly see how the hands played increased after roulette was introduced to the site but it's becoming a bit less popular and blackjack seems to be the most popular game now..

Yeah, I was surprised how incredibly Roulette took off when if first launched. But, it does seem that Roulette popularity is more volatile. Whereas, Blackjack has been more stable, and steadily growing in popularity.

Congrats,impressive numbers and statistic.

Thanks!

I would be interested to see information about bet sizes.  I understand you probably don't want to reveal it, or you would have done.  I'm interested to see if there are really people playing for 20 BTC per hand, or whether the majority of the action is in the microcoin area (where I tend to play).

Lost $100 playing blackjack  Cry

My highest bet was 2500 chips, but I lost 4-Q-9 to J-9

Second highest was about 1800-2000 - lost K-5-3 to Q-10

Highest win was 950 - K-J to Bust

I did win a bunch of 300's, and some 600's. I usually never went above 150 though.

I can definitely say the cards play different at different times of the day

My last buy-in was $25 - first two hands house got a blackjack, and I got two blackjacks, which were tied with BJ's from the house

The houses ratio of Ace/Q/K/J/10 was around 4:1 for the card the face-up card

All in all, GG BitZino. I might be back sometime to play some more Blackjack.

Edit: Is it possible to see my win:loss ratio?

Really, you can? How exactly do the cards play differently and what sample size are you talking about? ie how many days, how many hands, what hands, what times of day, etc?

Variance can be a bitch very fickle at times...

We definitely do have some players betting the maximum in all our games. While the majority of players are indeed betting small amounts, the majority of wager volume is coming from players that bet more than 1 BTC per hand.

I can definitely say the cards play different at different times of the day

Sorry that you lost Sad I can tell you that it would be computationally impossible for us to change the outcome of the cards based on the time of day, due to the nature of how we deal the cards in a provably fair manner.

Edit: Is it possible to see my win:loss ratio?

Send us an email to support@bitzino.com, and we'd be happy to provide that info to you!

We have temporarily started requiring at least 1 confirmation on your deposits before you can put your bitcoins into play. This is due to the potential security vulnerability in bitcoin that was announced here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=135985.0.

As part of this change, we also are accepting instant deposits from known green addresses. The only operational green addresses that we could find were from Mt. Gox and Deepbit. If you operate a service that has green address functionality, or if you know of one, please let us know so we can add it to the list of known green addresses.

I'm looking forward to finding out more information about this vulnerability, so that we can go back to providing instant deposits.

We're happy to announce that we have re-enabled instant deposits in bitZino! Huge thanks to retep and Mike Hearn for their responsible disclosure and their help getting this resolved. We have tipped each of them 5 BTC to show our appreciation.

While almost all deposits to our site will now be eligible for instant credited, it's still possible that your deposit may have to wait for one confirmation. Basically, we are now doing a series of anti-fraud checks in order to ensure our risk of a double spend is minimal.

The absolute best way to ensure your deposit is instantly credited is by using a Green Address for your deposit (currently from either Mt. Gox of Deepbit). Green Address deposits will always be instantly credited.

Barring the use of a green address, you can help make sure your transaction is instantly credited by ensuring that all inputs for your transaction have at least one confirmation. If you're using bitcoin-qt it will do this for you automatically.

Thanks again to retep and Mike Hearn, as well as the entire bitcoin development team!
