Well I think I'm finally calling it quits after all these months losing so much.  The final straw is when he hits 4 BJ's in a row then a 20 then a dealt out 21 and 2 more BJ in a row.  I have never seen something like that in real life...
So can anyone explain this to me ?  How is it possible or getting red or black 18 times in a row ?  The odds would have to be astronomical...

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

well , all this talk on bitzino. I will give it shot, I will update everyone on the status. My roommate lost al his coins, but felt that it was overall a pretty good site. I know he taped it, and from what I saw other then the freeze ups, seems to be pretty legit. I'll give it a go. wish me luck!

If you play enough hands, crazy shit like this will happen sometimes. I have a screen shot from Bitzino when I was dealt 6 aces in a row on blackjack. I couldn't even split anymore!

These situations are so unusual that you remember them more than the thousands of boring hands in between.

There have probably been times where you got 4 blackjacks in a row, also. These crazy streaks are all part of the gamble.

I don't see how adding a nonce helps.  If I can find two "random" strings with the same hash, I can surely also find two random strings which both begin the same nonce which also have the same hash.  You're not reducing the search space by specifying that both strings must have the same prefix.

Collision attacks are much less expensive than hash cracking. Crafting during months two unconstrained seeds with equal hash is more feasible than making them both fit a nonce that is changing every 10 minutes or so.

However, I concede that neither case is provably fair once collisions are possible. It is only about strengthening the system with collisions.

Yea you're right, i just lost a few hundred bucks and was mad.  But what you say is true, I have streaked before on multiple occasions.  Learning to stop when ahead is my problem lol.

by they way it works they will let you win a bit, then you will lose big bets.  Thats how it grabs you.   Seen this pattern with many rigged sites. They have a review that people calling this site a scam,  I have to find the link.  You think people like this would risk money
on a site if they cant make money on it.  No they have a way to alter the edges.

heres one capture i did before the other lose streak.

Look at the chances on a roulette game this wont happen that easy.  It can happen but I didnt even play that much for this to happen.

Also here is an argument from an more experinced person with hashes against the OP of the site

I feel uncomfortable seeing that some fellow posters seem to interpret my comments as meaning that there is something wrong at bitZino. This is absolutely not the case!

I was previously discussing in this thread an hypothetical theoretical weakness in provably fair gambling sites. bitZino is provably fair for all practical purposes.
Rare events can happen. bitZino tells the card order (in the end) and its hash (at the start), so you can prove (for all practical purposes) that nobody could have cheated.

I am the creator of bitZino - a provably fair HTML5 bitcoin casino with a focus on ease of use and a slick UI. bitZino also features extremely low minimum bets (as low as 1 μBTC), airtight security practices, and stellar customer support.

My goal is to make bitZino be so fun and easy to use that even non-bitcoiners will go there and play their favourite casino games. Then, when they realize they can actually step up and start playing for more than just play money, they'll take the time to learn about bitcoins.

Currently Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Slots, Three Card Poker, and Video Poker are live. Our Video Poker game offers the following variants: Jacks or Better, Tens or Better, Deuces Wild, Bonus Poker, Double Bonus Poker and Double Double Bonus Poker. We also plan on launching more single-player games shortly:  Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, and more varieties of Slots. (Let us know what games you want to see, and we'll prioritize them!)

Additional features:
  • Provably fair: We utilize cryptography to allow you to verify that you get a fair deal with every game you play.
  • HTML5: You don't need to download any software to play our games.
  • Security: We take security seriously. All communication to our servers is sent over an https connection. We store all user passwords with bcrypt encryption. We utilize offsite wallet cold storage for the majority of our funds.
  • A wide range of limits: Bet anywhere from 1 μBTC all the way up to 100 BTC. (The maximum bet varies by game)
  • Customer support: Our primary objective is to serve our customers. We listen to your feedback, and make sure you have the best experience possible on bitZino.
  • No registration required: We support both URL based authentication as well as username/password authentication, so you can choose your level of security. We also support two-factor authentication for even more security.

Check it out, and let me know what you think!

Hello, I am quite a big fan of bitzino. until just today at least Sad  I started with like 33$, not too much today lol, and when i got up to 80$ and tried withdrawing it only let me withdraw .08btc which is like 44$ in todays rate. I had 80mBTC in my account. I emailed customer support, hopefully we can fix this i don't want to end my relationship with this website.

I will be posting on response time for this issue and how bitzino dealt with this problem. Ill keep you guys posted!

0.08 BTC is exactly the same as 80mBTC, so the withdrawal limit appears to be correct.
Not sure how the $ values are relevant here.  Maybe you mix up $ with mBTC ?

Alternatively,  let us assume a game scaled-down to only 12 cards: it is reasonable to expect that you could repeat a previously seen permutation and be abused by a malicious player. Adding a nonce would prevent cheating also in that case.

We protect ourselves from this scenario by adding a random server_seed to the Secret component. So, even for a game with a small deck of cards, the Secret will always be different because we'll choose a different server_seed for every shuffle.

So wouldn't it be fairer if, instead of this random seed, you use the current block hash?

The problem I see is that you claim that the seed is random, but I (players) cannot prove it. However, the block hash is verifiably random, public to everyone. In that case, the card order would still be secret and I could not reasonably crack it in 10 minutes.
(in the few-cards scenario you'd still add some random bits more to the server secret, so that you avoid any card-permutation cracking attempt)

I tried to reach out on several occasions with no response.

Yea, I'm in the same boat-  not to have a pissing contest, but I can almost assure you I'm one of their top 5 players having won and lost a few thousand BTC in the past year with BTC prices very high.

I can't get a hold of the owner, or support --- Has anyone been in contact with them? Maybe they are on their yacht and gave up the customer relations part of the business?

I'm pretty sure he's still monitoring Bitzino from a distance, although he seems to become rather inactive on the forums. In any case I wouldn't worry too much, Bitzino is probably one of the most trustworthy casinos out there.

No, the server seed has to be a secret, and different for every hand. If they used the same one twice, you could use the same client seed both times and get the same shuffle twice, meaning one you won a hand you could win it over and over again.

Does anyone know why the bitzino support don't answer any question?
I sent  mail to support@bitzino but they didn't answer to my email! I want to deposit in bitzino and play there but I'm afraid  , it seems that they don't support the users.
Does anyone had deposit and withdraw in bitzino in recent days?
