no bounty sir ??

Can you please explain what you refer to?

He's probably talking about some kind of loyalty program, bonus or special offer for buying on the page, although serious vendors are seldomly offering promotions like that.

We offer a tell-a-friend program where everyone can be rewarded for referring new customers to BitPanda. Everyone can check it out here: https://www.bitpanda.com/tell-a-friend

There are more details in the account then.
The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Hi,

We have a verified account with unlimited options, suddenly Skrill disappeared from our payment options and we were mainly relying on  it in our transactions.

We tried contacting support but we didn't hear back from them.

Can you please assist us? We used it many times than it disappeared without any notice.

Could BitPanda clarify their stance on the hard fork contingency plan? http://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-exchanges-unveil-emergency-hard-fork-contingency-plan/
Signed by: "Bitfinex, Bitstamp, BTCC, Bitso, Bitsquare, Bitonic, Bitbank, Coinfloor, Coincheck, itBit, QuadrigaCX, Bitt, Bittrex, Kraken, Ripio, ShapeShift, The Rock Trading and Zaif"
+ BitMex as well: https://blog.bitmex.com/a-statement-on-the-possible-bitcoin-unlimited-hard-fork/

We currently are discussing our stand on this topic and will publish the outcome once we decided.
Any news about this? I will be releasing a write up/summary on companies in their respective branches that are anti-fork (altcoin in this case). This will also include those neutral/undecided and those who are for it (practically nobody). It would be nice to include Bitpanda.

To avoid another post:

Hello Lauda,

we will publish a detailed blog post once this topic becomes closer to reality. Right now our stance is that Bitcoin is the Bitcoin network with the full economic majority behind it. We will be very careful with any attacks on Bitcoin and any forced forks that have such ugly politics behind it will have to prove themselves over time before they can even be remotely considered Bitcoin.

Regards
I'll put you under neutral for now; thanks!

Question regarding 'tell a friend' programme. On the website it says:

Quote
* You receive a 2.50 € bonus* for every referred, Gold verified customer after the initial order.

* Additionally you will receive a lifetime 5% bonus* on the collected service fee, for every order your referred customers fulfil.

Then asterisk note says:

Quote
*Bonus can only be withdrawn as Cryptocoin order. Minimum order is 25€. Can be combined with normal order. Valid: 180 days from issuing date.

Are 'lifetime bonuses' limited to 180 days? Or was it meant only for the €2.50 bonus, but if so, why did you put asterisks for both bonuses? Bit confusing.

Also, will you be implementing "sell" options for all the supported cryptos other than Bitcoin (ETH, dash, LTC)?

You will be paid regularly with the voucher amount. These vouchers have a lifetime of 180 days. You can order with them in a voucher alone order or the voucher will be calculated into a coin buy you do.

The lifetime bonus isn't touched by that.

Hi.

So I did a stupid mistake yesterday when I was transferring some Litecoin to Bitpanda to try out your service. I accidental copied the bitcoin address and  because of the format for bitcoin and litecoin multisig is the same the transaction went tru.
This is of course my bad.

But I do have to question your support answer: "unfortunately we can't help you if you sent LTC to a BTC address. Bitcoin/Litecoin transactions are irreversible. Please make sure to use the correct address next time." since I think this is not a good answer. Cuz I do know it is possible to retrieve Litecoins that are sent to bitcoin mulitisig wallet by importing the private keys.

Therefore I must ask: Is it because you do not know how to do this or because you do not want to do this. Either way I do not find the lack of solution very reassuring.

Also I think you really need to do something with your user interface - because I will not be the last one to do that error. Take in account that both the litecoin and bitcoin tab is extremely similiar and if the webpage reloads after you have clicked on the litecoin tab the bitcoin tab becomes active again. - Atleast keep the two wallets on different pages or at the same page, so a unintentional refresh of the page screws people over

And the irony in it is that the main reason I tested Bitpanda was due to researching other services to reduce the risk of beeing screwed by regular exchanges frequently freeses fund or getting hacked. And to this date I have not yet lost any coins due to hacks, bankruptcy or fund freezing in regular exchanges. And as soon as I start thinking of finding more secure sollutions I of course get rekt right away.

Well - it was not a very big amount since I always try out services with low amount of coins, but anyway, in my spreadsheet Bitpanda never the less is listed with a 100% loss.

Hello CarnivalFace,

you will be happy to see that we already implemented an LTC wallet into BitPanda today. What you accidentally did should not happen again this way. Hope you like it.

Hi BitPanda.com.

Just to be clear: I did not intentionally try to send litecoin to a bitcoinwallet and hoping that it would go well. Smiley The issue was that I was sure I was on the litecoin tab when I copied the address. So if it was due to a unintentional refresh of the page or I accidental clicked on the bitcoin tab somewhere on the way I do not know.

As I mentioned I think you should look at both the interface and maybe have some routines in place to get litecoins out of bitcoinwallets for when it happens to customers that are transferring bigger funds than I did. I do not like red numbers in my spreadsheets but those few Euros will not ruin me so will not make a big fuzz about it. Jus a bit annoying that my first loss came when looking for safer solutions to trade coins then online exchanges. Undecided

I have read on the interweb that it is possible to get litecoin out of bitcoin multisig, same issues with Bitfinex have been discussed on this forum and resolved - but I have never done it myself so do not know more than you can import the private keys from bitcoin multisig to a litecoin multisig adress. Guess this is as much a task for the litecoin developer as it is for you.

Thanks for your feedback. As I wrote you, I refunded you from my personal money. We will improve the visibility difference between the BTC and the LTC wallet, so that this should be nearly impossible in the future.
