So, is it safe to use now new git binaries and use to 201600 chain ? If blockchain is moving so I will be able to start my BNs ?

Want to know this because now I can manage it, but soon I will have no advance access for a few days.

Blockchain has been moving for a while now, going to try mine 95 blocks and see if bids get updated (tlc made a bid) then i'll ask a group of people to slowly rebuild the network with me, massive emphasis on there not being a single point of failure in the network, we should not have to rely on seed nodes, this is where some forking problems are coming from user connects to seed nodes and leaves it that...you need to be connected to at least 3 or 4 different peers, that way if one goes off the rails, your node continues on the longest chain. 70009 nodes are being used to sync up to 201600 then you start getting the new blocks. The reason old client will not be able to process these blocks is that i have extended the period of leniency to BN payments , this allows users time (about 2 days) to spin up BNs. Also hopefully, we can quickly mine our way to a payout block and observe the situation.

It's imperative that we ensure that bids are added to the block.

Expecting the source ...

Thank You for your tips!

Myself and hack_ are @ block 201763 , we want to observe behavior @ block 201795. If we are satisfied that bids are being updated every 95 blocks we will upload the final set of changes and hack will provide you with nodes to sync from. This allows a 5 block interlude before any %900==0 payout block.

When we start building the network we hope people will help us with SOLO mining only till we pass the first payout block so we can also observe payout inclusion, if we succeed then there will be one minor update afterwards that will re-instate some of the stricter BN rules as well as a new rule set that

1) Ensures BN only mining (may be a bit slow until i get time to consult with fellow developers)
2) Ensures NO one BN can dominate the network (still trying to decide on dynamic limits, within reason )

Should only be an few minutes to 2-3 hours until we can verify the results (if it's just the two of us), do you wish to join in and help speed things up?

 There have been some very important issues raised in this thread, please know that i keep those ideas in mind @ all times. It's just that the past few weeks have been spent exclusively working on how to move away from traditional archaic methods. The eventual aim is for us to have a extremely user friendly cross platform.

As indicated in recent posts we are changing our way of thought into one that can design and compete on a global level. This means (much as i hate it) We will spend a hell of a lot more time on outreach, product advertisement and feedback. We need to scale and we need to do it fast.

I have been contacted by many altcoin promoters but have not responded because that is not even in the field of what we are aiming for. I want real exposure, not to the small crypto groups but to the world, in fact we will move away from the forum once we begin. The in-fighting, scams, trolling and other nonsense on this forum just does not fit with the direction we are headed.

Sorry, I'm on the road right now and I will arrive late @home. But if I can help in any way, just let me know.  Roll Eyes

please answer my question about populating network with those faulty masternodes..
this can lead for free masternode money..
or will i test it my self?
that does not need big computing power since part of code needed is released lately..

quete of yours:
"Also if you have noticed, there's over 800 nodes running the old wallet version that just popped up out of nowhere."

we could do bigger population by easy script.

I did not say masternodes, they were simply nodes and the issue resolved itself when the nodes were banned.

right now i cant even see if they are still online or not as they are incompatible

take a deep look at masternode rules.. there may be a loop hole..

41.191.238.189

 Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

You cheated!!!! it will take some doing , but maybe we can just re-write it for json?

Everyone else, feel free to git pull now and build new wallets , you can sync fro the node hack_ just provided, you can also sync up to block 201600 using other nodes.

let's get the network back online.

All seems good for me, built without issue and synced fine after a --reindex, started up one local BN for now, will fire up some more tonight.

Should I be running 1 core solo mining for each BN?

I'm not so lucky, my VPS and home wallets starts to sync to the last block and then it stops. After closing and opening again it does the same so I can't sync to start my BNs.

Did you remember to add these to your .conf and remove any previous ones?

addnode=41.191.238.189
addnode=82.211.1.181:8877
addnode=91.230.123.101:8877

Delete peers.dat too, in fact delete everything except bitcredit.conf, your wallet.dat and backups, and dragos_bdi's blocks + chainstate directories. Then start with --reindex.

(Apologies if you've already tried all this.)
