Nah, I'd say leave it as it is. Changing to % would require additional wording/explanation. i.e. "multiply by 100%" (if taken literally) has no effect if the base is BTC1 (1x1=1), doubles the base if it's BTC2 (2x2=4) and actually reduces the base if <BTC1 (i.e. 0.1x0.1=0.01).

80,000 CLAM isn't "worth" 500 BTC. I'm looking at the poloniex order books now, and it looks like if someone tried to sell even 5,000 of your site's play tokens it would drop the price over 80%. Now your 75,000 CLAMs are worth under 100 BTC. Funny how that works. But hey, never let "facts" get in the way of a good story

You can't trade any reasonable amount of clam for Bitcoin. It's not even worth mentioning as a currency to use for gambling unless you are talking in the same sense of Zynga chips or Pokerstars play money.

Saying at the current price is warping the reality of the situation no matter how you look at it. Most trading happens on exchanges; the one minute blocks makes the process quick so I don't imagine people would lose much stake doing so.

My example clearly explains how your "max profit" is nothing other than hot air. I'm sorry if it annoys you or you don't agree, but it is what it is. If you traded 1 btc for 1 clam to yourself over and over you would never claim that just-dice had a max profit of 77,000 btc because that would obviously be ridiculous.

It really depends on how and where you sell it.

If you dump it on an exchange, the price drops to about 10% of the current price. You'd have to be pretty silly to do that, but you could if you wanted to. People have dumped large amounts on the exchange before in anger trying to destroy the market. All that happened was a bunch of people got to buy some cheap CLAMs and the price recovered.

If you win 80k CLAM the max profit doesn't change much at all. Investors only risk 0.5% of their total effective investment, so the max profit would go down by 400 from 81.3k to 80.9k. If you won another 80k then a bunch of investors would be margin called and the max profit would drop significantly.

You can't trade any reasonable amount of clam for Bitcoin.

What's a reasonable amount of CLAM? The poloniex exchange is showing 4700 CLAM traded for BTC in the last 24 hours. Is that reasonable? I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. I don't have any trouble trading CLAM for BTC at all. People are almost always happy to trade it at the market price off-exchange because that way they avoid fees and slippage.

And yet here we are, mentioning it. Do you have any real points? CLAM is clearly used on gambling sites and is working as intended. It's nothing like Zynga or Pokerstars money.

BTC is more easily exchanged for other currencies than CLAM is of course. That doesn't mean that 182 BTC is worth more than 80k CLAM. It would probably take you a while to find buyers for 80k CLAM, but I would be surprised if you didn't get at least twice as much as 182 BTC for it. I recently escrowed a private transaction in which someone bought 10k CLAM for 65 BTC. The price hasn't moved much at all since then. At that rate 80k CLAM would sell for 65*8 = 520 BTC. Even if they only got half that they would still be getting more than the 182 BTC max bet at PRC.
