Well done on Black Jack.

And don't forget to update the landing page, still showing only 3 games:

Thanks.

I'll update that page today.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Just finishing off some things for the promo but wondered what people want to see next at Pocket Rockets Casino now that we have dice, blackjack, roulette and lottery.

New games? Video poker, slots, craps?

Do you want to see poker back? With Open Face Chinese obviously Smiley

Or something else?

All ideas welcome

Yes to poker. no-limit texas holdem, that's all I need  Smiley

This could really attract more people to PRC, especially since SealsWithClubs went down.

That's a lot of coding unless you buy already existing software.

I would go with Pai Gow Poker.

It would be an updated/revamped version of the existing Pocket Rockets Casino poker software that was running last year. It still would be more work than any other features but not as long as starting from scratch.

Played BlackJack and with those kind of rules it has pretty high house edge for BJ ~1%
It is boring to play without sound effects. Cards are small and it is hard to follow game

Got a new stats page on. If you click stats you will see a link to https://pocketrocketscasino.eu/play/#hallOfFame which shows largest bets and wins.
More stats will be added here soon.

This was made by a regular player at Pocket Rockets Casino, scuni, so thanks to him for that feature.

Note: It only shows bets from start of the year when the new version was launched. I'll get all previous stats added asap.

Adding poker/OFC doesn't really make a lot of sense since SWC basically has the market cornered on that.  Unless you are willing to give insane bonus' (which wouldn't make sense as you wouldn't make any money), taking the time to build a new poker platform would prob be a waste of your time.

My idea?  Start a sportsbetting exchange.  It's new, innovative and has zero risk to you (as all the wagers would be p2p with you taking a cut).  Since sports betting exchange naturally includes a live betting component (as you can buy/sell the shares anytime), you'll see a huge influx of traffic from people who are clamoring for live betting.

Keep in mind I am the person who gave you the original idea to implement a dice game into PRC, so I do have some good ideas sometimes.

Hi CryForMeSky, I know SWC does have the majority but we were the first casino to have Open Face Chinese and it was profitable as it remained the best place to play before I removed it. Others have said that it is still better than the OFC over at SWC.

I do know though there is still huge room for improvement over all poker sites, especially Bitcoin poker sites.
But you are right, it would take a while. Though I would be reusing some of the code from the original Pocket Rockets Casino poker software.

A sports betting exchange was planned before when we had the sportsbook during the world cup.

I had a prototype finished which was pretty good but I noticed Nitrogen managed to push their exchange out a few weeks before I got the chance and they had very little traffic with it. Not sure what it's like now though.

But there wasn't much traffic back then and obviously as dice exploded I made that top priority.

Both poker and a sports betting exchange are things I will definitely add to the site at some point but due to the time of both to develop they may not be the best to focus on right now, what do you think?

Thanks

I think with poker you will have a very small part of the market share (due to SWC and WPN having such strong brands) and it won't really be worth your time.  Hell, look at Nitro...they have a pretty large captive audience and a strong brand and they struggle to get anyone on the tables.  Back in the day, the big selling point for PRC was the OFC games.  If you recall, I also used to suggest to you that you fly out to Vegas during the WSOP to promote the platform to the big OFC fiat players.  Now, SWC has kind of cornered the market on OFC play so not only have you lost a lot of long-time players, but you'd also have to offer very competitive rake AND a solid RB plan, basically mitigating all of your profits.  Just doesn't seem profitable for you.

A sportsbook is a good idea, but the problem there is that you would have a lot of competition, and you would have a lot of overhead (odds provider), AND you take on all of the risk yourself.

With an exchange model, you wouldn't have any competition (Nitro ran theirs very briefly, I honestly don't know why), you'd have a market for it, you wouldn't need that much overhead (an odds provider wouldn't be necessarily as users can create their own lines), and you take on no risk.

Obviously the best ideas are ones that are wholly original, new takes on old ideas (like Moneypot...it's just a new spin on a dice-like game but it's unique, interactive and fun), or finding a way to 'port' an existing fiat model to the online or bitcoin world.  But, those ideas are hard to come up with and, you know...not free.

I didn't know they removed that. Interesting why they would. Does that show that maybe there wasn't enough interest in it?
If I got enough people asking for it I would definitely consider adding that and could make it high priority.

I feel like there was some sort of bug with it or it was some sort of beta period, I don't believe that it was removed due to lack of interest as they still have the poker room active despite an extreme lack of interest there and the fact that people still ask for it/live betting back literally every single day.

A sport-betting exchange would be a great addition!
(you owe me one for not introducing higher kelly multipliers when I proposed this weeks ago  Grin)

Just kidding, I think it really would be great. Regarding poker I think it´s harder to achieve the "critical mass" of users
to have enough games running. And you can´t really compete with a site that is part of WPN poker network and is running a million dollar tourney
every few weeks.

Regarding the betting exchange I think it would be easier. Look at your competitor fairlay -> they recently introduced
a market maker who provides liquidity for all the betting markets. Since then their betting exchange really took off.
Nitrogen failed in this department and therefore in my opinion is responsible that the betting exchange didn´t really
took off there.

If you would team up with a few people who would agree to provide liquidity / starting odds I think it would be
fairly easy to grow a successful betting exchange.

Overall I think it´s a great idea and I would happily use it.

And as the site owner a betting exchange would of course be a great addition for you, because it possibly
attracts new users and you make a profit independent from the actual outcomes of the games  Wink

Pocket Rockets Casino 2nd Anniversary Celebration

Is this an April Fool joke? Or are you really more than doubling your take?

No it's not a joke. I have already spoke with most of the investors and they are happy with it.

We all want the site to grow as much as possible and the current commission structure doesn't allow that. Especially since investors have been much luckier than the house since the change to the wagered model. Meaning I have taken much less than 10% commission since October.

I expected a few investors to leave but since I announced the change total investment rose by 320 Bitcoin.

All major investors have said they are staying in and they see the value in doing so based on the long term plans of the site.
Not to mention that Pocket Rockets Casino is already the most profitable and one of the most popular Bitcoin dice site currently running.

If you are not invested this does not effect you. The total invested is already huge and we don't really need any extra. Even if a third of investment was taken out we'd still have the largest payouts of any Bitcoin dice site.
