Hi, does anyone know how many users of Gold Pieces there are?

Is that possible to know?  I guess the number of different wallets may be possible to surmise somehow, but given that people could be using any number of wallets, that wouldn't give you a figure for actual users.

Anyhow someone with more knowledge than me about these things (which would probably be most people) might have a better answer for you!   Cheesy

I believe there is a way to check how many addresses are funded but with GP being a PoS coin that would probably give a very inaccurate number.

If you're using Windows Firewall you will need to allow the connection when it asks. Make sure your conf file is in the AppData/Roaming/GoldPieces folder

Thanks for the complete conf file. I'm discouraged as I pasted the entire file from yours and it still won't work. Seems like it should be simple. Also, there's no firewall on the computer.

I got it working! Thank you.

Sorry you're still having problems.  I have with other wallets in the past, not so much GP...

When you open the wallet, at the bottom of the window where the bars are, if you hover the mouse over that does it say you have no active connections?

I'm not at my PC that has my wallet but I found a screenshot that although it's old does show what I mean.

Bottom right, between the arrow and the tick.  (Just in case you didn't know what I was referring to, although I realise you probably did!)

What is the best link to download the GP wallet? This coin has great potential and I want to get more involved.

Hi sir astral, https://github.com/palmd/GoldPieces/releases

I invite and challenge you to beat my score at Snake tournament and win some prizes (you can confirm your participation with HYPER, NLG, GP or 1337 coin), new week contest has begun, previous prizes were paid (well not even one, because there were just 2 players in previous week and one of them was me  Smiley, consequently all buy-ins were returned to all who paricipated, well just one then  Shocked).

See you at the contest (see my signature for more details), let the best snake win. Snake on.

I use cryptobe and currently their block explorer is at 1188800 which is the same as my wallet.

You might have to clear your cache for their site or reload the url without pressing ctrl+r or f5 as their cache system is messing with its real data.

False alarm!  Turns out my ISP was acting up.  I had a horrible internet connection so the singular node I was connected to and I went off on our own fork, and it looks like I was seeing cached data from cryptobe and bittrex.

Thanks for the fast reply regardless.
